Here's one! YAY!

Apparently ( according to reviews and interviews ) some things HAVE been cut from the movie we all saw in Theaters.

Here's one I read a few days ago.

"The battle between Optimus and Megatron has been shortened to give Shia more screen-time and to FURTHER establish an emotional bond between the audience and Shia / Sam"

Does this mean we'll get more O.P and Megs? I hope so! So , what do you think / or know for SURE that has been cut?

the whole world is waiting for a director's cut to be featured in the DVD

Has Bay ever released such? I doubt it, he usual regards what is released as his director's edition. Did you guys know he didnt see the point for the robots to speak and hasbro had to fight for it so they speak in the film? So i've read anyway.

there was 2 versions of Armageddon, theater cut and Criterion Collection directors cut. I have the CC version and it is good, lots of nice little bits that were removed for the theater cut. I HOPE that bay/spielburg/paramount/dreamworks will release a longer cut of this on dvd :woot:.

There was an alternate cut of Pearl Harbor as well.

In the first "real" trailer (not the Mars Rover teaser) there was a shot of Duhamel holding someone's hand. I'm willing to bet that's Figueroa (the guy from Prison Break) dying on the plane on the way to the United States (remember in the scene where they were examining Scorponok's tail there was a makeshift infirmary in the background).

After Duhamel says "this is wicked" he seems to be walking towards that area...

There was also this scene that we saw in the TV spots where Anthony Anderson's character yells. "That killer robot is really distracting!" It was nowhere in the movie.

 You sure I thought I remembered seeing that, after Frezy throws a ninja star in the room and it almost hits him and he yells that out.

No, the killer robot line isn't in there.

There's a couple other things I noticed that were in trailers/commercials that weren't in the film but I'd need to see it again to point anything else out aside from the Duhamel thing I mentioned.

Further establish an emotional bond? We had an hour plus of him on screen already!!!

When Sector 7 catches BB, I wish they kept that line in the trailer when Sam goes, "STOP! He's not gonna hurt you!"

That was a great line.

I just pray that if there's a director's cut, please let there be more screentime with the Autobots and Decepticons. I really want to see the nemesis relationship with Optimus and Megatron and the competition between Megatron and Starscream.

Looking at the Pearl Harbor Director's Cut, I'd hope that there's at least some juicy extra scenes included on the home disc version of the movie.

- There are about five lines for every transformers that did not make it to the movie.
- More scenes with the quarreling between Megatron and Starscream

According to Orci.

The line "I'll drive , you shoot!" felt different.

I'm really hoping for a Director's Cut. The Movie could've used some close ups of the Transformers, especially when Optimus spoke his line "At the end of this day, one shall stand, one shall fall."
