Out of curiosity, is there anyone around here who disliked Michael Keaton's Batman?

That is funny about the DVD's as I have not seen this trend and I am in Best Buy all the time. I actually was searching for the Batman series to purchase a while back and I found Batman and Robin to be the hardest to get. These things have print runs, it being sold out because everyone is going to buy those two movies is insane, I am sure that is not the case. All you need to do is search for the weekly or monthly sales and you can find out the truth. Hate to burst the Keaton/Burton fanboy bubble but it seems as if smeone is making things seem as if they fit their argument on this one.
This is just laughable.
I was not making any argument, I don't need to lie to prove something, I was not trying to convince you, get over, kid.

But if you insist on this gross issue, see this:
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/studio/chart/?studio=warnerbros.htm
But again, this does not have anything to do with movie quality, this does not mean movie quality, headache boy.

Oh, on a side note, not for you, get over, but for the other posters, I love Batman Begins as well.

Every time I watch B89, I'm reminded how incredibly badass Keaton's Batman was, and how subpar his Wayne was.

Hey "buddy" your link doesn't mean squat, it has nothing to do with DVD sales.

Can't you read?

Everytime that i watch batman89, im reminded how ridiculous was Keaton as batman and specially as bruce wayne. And how the joker was the main character in the movie, and how gordon was wasted, etc, etc.

That wasn't MY POINT in the first place. I was disputing the ridiculous claim that the Burton movies were more popular because they were the ones ALWAYS sold out at the store. All I said was "check the DVD sales and you will see how wrong that is"

Stop back pedaling fanboy.

Tim Burton was and is the worst director in the world.

Amen to that. Well sorta. He actually is a good filmmaker.Just not when it comes to Batman movies or other classics like Willie Wonka.Burton has made some good films before such as The Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands.See when he does his OWN stuff with original material,he's actually a pretty decent film maker, but when he gets his hands on classics like batman and willie wonka,he screws them up big time.He needs to do his OWN stuff and stay away from classics. And he should definetely have never been allowed near a Batman franchise.

I thought Burtons take on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was much better than the 1971 version, which took many liberties from the source material. but then again, I've always hated the 1971 movie, as did Rould Dahl the man who wrote the book.

That choco factory movie was horrible. I had to force myself to sit through that. Corpse Bride was crap too. Edward was ok, Mars Atacks was great, Ed Wood was boring but not watched it since it first came out. Might give it another viewing here just for ****s and giggles, see if it was as bad as I remembered.

TO: Kritish

You know, Tim Burton was first guy bought the dark in Batman just like in comics to the his movies without Michael Uslan and Tim Burton we wouldn’t have the dark in Dark Knight if up to WB in 1988 we would have West 60s show turned into a movie because that's how people thought of Batman that theme from 60s (no offence to West & Co that show was great in it's own right but I didn't like it)

Like I said Burton and Uslan bought great character where he belongs now Nolan, Goyer and Uslan making sure we fans and moviegoers get the Batman we love and know this is why I thank Tim Burton and Chris Nolan who are great directors I like their Batman movies and non-Batman movies.

Once again, your opinion. You should try putting "I thought..." or "My opinion is that..." in your rants.

Why? Everybody knows when someone says something like this it is an opinion. Stop being a baby.

Than stop saying things as though they are a fact. You come across as though you are stating something as a stone cold fact.

Keaton will always be Batman for me and a place in my heart, He is the "daddy" of all the life action batman IMO...

dude, anyone who does not realize that another persons opinion is subjective to that persons taste and then proceeds to take someones opinion as fact should really rethink coming on to a public forum discussion concerning fellow posters opinions on movies actors and flavors of ice cream.

If you have a tough time differentiating between fact and opinion and take it personal then perhaps you do not belong here.

Give me an example of where I've done that.

You should add "In my opinion" before that comment.

oh wait, nothing would be said to you because you shared that other guys opinion where as mine was different so he is trying to come down on me.

Carry on.

You know what "LongDong". I'm done. I've said what I've said and don't want to waste my time posting in this thread. We obviously have differences so, Peace.
