Hearthstone has similarities to Magic the Gathering but is more approachable (haven't played that though, just basing that from what I've seen and heard). It's ridiculously fun (and addictive!). You can collect new card packs by Gold that you earn by doing Quests, or by buy packs for real money.

EDIT: I should add that Hearthstone is all about World of Warcraft characters. However, I haven't played WoW and knows very little about it but still I'm super attached to the game and the cards.

Oh. Never been into Warcraft, like, at all. I might be interested in that Marvel game though.

Marvel Dice Masters is an actual card and dice game which looks like this:

I haven't played it myself but I've heard great things about it. There will also be a DC Dice Masters soon.

Unfortunately though, from what I've heard it's pretty hard to get the starter pack that you need.

I haven't played Warcraft, but I'm looking forward to the movie due out for next March. Could be a nice substitute for Middle Earth.

We often need reminders of what is important or valuable. Solving a difficult problem has its rewards and often times you feel the type of gratification that can only come from working through a tough situation. If it's something easy then you're not learning anything nor growing as a person.
