I don't care for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Not seeing it doesn't hurt the movie experience for me.

:funny:

I watched The Great Gatsby a few days ago. I actually quite enjoyed, and thought it was a pretty damn good film. Visually appealing, entertaining, and good performances. Especially from Joel Edgerton.

Oh, and that soundtrack is just awesome. :hmr:
I like most of movie, with the exception of Toby as Nick. He has this goofy expression on his face throughout the whole film, and I couldn't take him seriously. But yes, Edgerton did great. It shows just how ready he is to play Uncle Owen in an Obi-wan spinoff film. :woot:

Hey guys, thick dust storm here.
So heavy I'm glad to see some lights, and a little of the outlines of a fence away buildings.

And I'm just sittin here watching that Deadpool video...over...and over...and over.

Me too, haha. I think it's fair to say that Deadpool and Daredevil OWN the internet today. :woot:

Hoping it's better than that Agents Of Shield garbage!

I'll binge watch all the Agents of Shield episodes this Thursday, I can't wait. I've heard that it starts lukewarm but it turns into a great series once the Hydra thing is revealed.

The one where they confirm it's going to be rated R.

I'd like to tell you all that the dust storm we had last night dispersed at about 4am.
That was a heavy blanket of dust.

Everyone ok?

We get dust storms and microbursts here in AZ from time to time. They're no joke.

Really? I thought Tobey was fine. Yeah, there's the occasional "hey look it's Spider-Man" thing, but he was fine to me.

What did you think of the soundtrack? Many of the movie's critics deem the soundtrack as inappropriate.

I thought the movie was ok (a bit overrated and boring after multiple views) but the soundtrack was cool, even if it also loses its novelty after the first time

Gatsby? Overrated? The movie got a pretty mixed reception critically. Almost the definition of mixed.

Acting-wise, I think Toby did fine. I just found something about his expressions distracting. As for the soundtrack, I thought it was fine, if a bit random. They should have at least included the actual songs used in the book.

So, anybody on here download the Marvel's Mighty Heroes app?

Don't care enough to try it.

After thinking a while, I hope the MCU wraps up with the Infinity War movies, I'd prefer the long running story to keep the same actors, and not go on with changing actors.

Marvel has enough characters on the rise to keep the MCU going for another 3-4 Avengers movies post Infinity Wars. There's no way they're stopping while they have all this momentum. Especially when they can pull in over 770M with movies like Guardians of the Galaxy.

This momentum makes it a good way to end.
End it as a stellar series, before it turns to something stale.
And it's bad enough they changed the actor and the design for the Hulk, I prefer keeping it to the current crew.

I finally got an avatar!
Congratulations, it's a very nice one.

Hey, I don't know if everyone heard but Greg Weisman (Gargoyles, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Young Justice), created a Kickstarter to fund an audiobook (with voice acting, sound effects, and music), based off his first novel, Rain Of The Ghosts. It's a pretty good book and Weisman could use some help and I felt like spreading the word. Weisman spent $30,000 dollars of his own money to fund it but he is using Kickstarter to finish funding it. The great thing about Rain is that he owns this completely, so studio execs are not involved. Rewards include having dinner with Weisman, Josh Keaton(Spidey from the Spectacular animated series), and Vanessa Marshall (Mary Jane Watson from Spec), Voice mail shout-outs, art, and of course the Audioplay! I've recently been playing Lego Marvel Superheroes alot as Daredevil. I like fighting crime and pretending I'm him.

"I'm just trying to make my city a better place."

We need a Daredevil game.

If only he was allowed to swing in that game.
