Who here will try seeing the movie more than once, as a way of paying back for all the free stuff? You know as long as long as the movie rocks, which it will. Think I'll try to see it four times in theatres. I should I only saw BB once in theaters and I saw Spider-Man3 fives times despite it's crapiness. I owe Bats some money.

I work at the cinema, so I can see movies for free. Needless to say, I'll be seeing the Dark Knight every day I can, as many times in a row.

Being a fan is reason enough to see the movie multiple times... for me. But what I meant by paying them back is that I'm gonna have to convince non-comic fan friends and family into seeing this. They got my tickets no matter what, but I feel obligated to get others in the seats. Those who wouldn't be there Viral campaign or not, the "I'll wait for it on DVD crowd" - Which is the majority of my friends.

I really don't think that this coasts as much as you all might be thinking.
because when it comes to stuff like this getting stuff in bulk is cheap you could get something like 900 buttons made up for 25 bucks at some places and you could get 100 one sided one color t-shirts for 145 bucks, sure add some stuff in like two sides and multi color and that will ring up more but in total they are prob looking at some where in the high 100,000s (which may or may not include their fees for all this)

I don't know where you get your pricing from, but the T-Shirt pricing is HIGHLY inaccurate. $1.45 for a shirt is WAY TOO cheap. Even for a single sided print, mega cheap white shirt. That price is way below cost to manufacture them.

First off, a black t-shirt is more expensive than the white shirts. The IBIHD shirts are a three color double sided print. I can promise you that at the very least, the shirts were $6.00 a piece. And that is VERY cheap for that kind of shirt. The pricing for buttons you quote is far off too. These are pretty decent size buttons to be that cheap......900 for $25?? Are you crazy?

Obviously you don't realize how much time and effort it takes to put websites together, write articles for newspapers, have them printed, get T-shirts made, get buttons made, have posters printed, have stickers printed, rent vans, pay people to be drive the vans, have automated phone calls, and have actors record scenes (house of pies incident). I know that I have forgotten alot of other small things too.

I can promise you that they are at least paying 42 Entertainment the cost of a Super Bowl spot, maybe two. 42's stock has risen tremendously since taking over this viral marketing for this film. They are bright, intelligent and will be highly sought after when this campaign is overwith. Along with that comes big $$$$
