I used to enjoy both waffles and pancakes but I'm strictly a waffle guy.

Kane, I am going to hurt you for reviving this thread.

If only because it makes me want pancakes and waffles

It's one of the most important questions of our lifetimes.

I rarely eat breakfast, but I could go either way. Pictures like this make me sick, though:

because pancakes seem to expand in my stomach. I'd rather have one waffle than three pancakes for that very reason. If I tried to eat six pancakes, I'd puke my guts out.

Besides, the breakfast of champions is biscuits 'n' gravy. :o

Gravy for breakfast? Barf.

You can tell I grew up in the north.

What a stupid question. Of course pancakes is better :o
Waffles are fairly close though.

How you gon' bring toast into the equation? Messing up my whole goddamn dynamic. :cmad:

generally french toast is my favorite...but I'll take a big ass Belgian Waffle over a pancake any day.

edit: I feel like my post has chosen a very awkward position. right in the crossfire.

I love waffles, but making them has become a lost art. Most places I go to don't make it on a waffle iron with batter; they buy frozen or packaged belgian waffles and cook them on the plancha grill. :cmad:

I miss it when IHOP used to have 2 different kinds of waffles: the Belgian Waffle and the Sunshine Waffle. The latter was phased out around 2001 I think, and I have been a sad man ever since.

Two toast + scrambled eggs = delicious.

Now just to be clear, are we talking about pancakes and waffles Pre-Crisis or Post-Crisis?

Toast and some fried eggs. Gotta scoop up that runny yolk, yo!
