French toast is better than even a special waffle rolled up with a pancake could be.

Best carbohydrate breakfast foods

1. French Toast
2. Muffins
3. Pancakes
4. Regular Toast / Sliced Bread
5. Waffles

What....no crepes?

Exactly my reaction. Crepes are the best. Just enough batter and top it with nutella & whip cream or strawberries, nutella and whip cream, or almost any type of berries and whip cream - then just try to keep me away. (Who needs syrup when you've got whip cream?)

Pancakes.

Nothing tastes quite as well with bacon.

Bacon is the most overrated food since.... bacon.

It's not THAT good. It's okay, but I don't crave it and could probably even live the rest of my life without eating it.

A great pancake is indeed great. But not one made from boxed mix or one too floury. So it's rare to find. Definitely no IHOP stank.

French toast is always good though. :o

Waffles? Ugh, why bother? Cardboard with syrup.

Crepes are just really thin pancakes. :o

Regardless, peanut butter + syrup on either is heavenly.

If you go for a more dessert style, I would go with waffles. If you go for a more classic breakfast, I would probably go pancakes.

Then you could claim waffles are just really thick pancakes with a pattern pushed into them.

Crepes actually have the ingredients in different proportions, less flour and salt, more milk and eggs = different taste from pancakes.

Any more mention of crepes or french toast warrants a probate ban. This is America dammit. :argh:

What happens when I put my pancake batter in a waffle press?

The stuff from Vermont is 15% urine.

In fairness, the same is true for the Canadian stuff, but I mean.... dat Canadian urine, amirite? Amirite, guys? :awesome:

We are a waffle house now. We got a waffle maker as a shower gift.

I special order Carbon's Golden Malted mix.

Now I only get pancakes when I eat out for breakfast.
