Here's a new article featuring Will Arnett which also has that same photo, But a higher quality version of it.

“The Turtles were kind of dormant in the popular culture for a while, but then a few years ago, when Nickelodeon unveiled the animated series, my two young sons started watching and became increasingly pro-Turtle by the day,” says Arnett, who turns 44 on May 4. “By the time the movie came around for me, I was kind of immersed in it.”

Arnett got huge Dad props by taking his boys, now ages 3 and 5, to the New York sets while the movie was being shot last year. He plays TV cameraman Vernon Fenwick, who helps Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Donatello and reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox) fight the evil Shredder (William Fichtner) and his minions in the Michael Bay-produced adventure.

“They always wanted to see Shredder, all the different characters,” he recalls. “They’d come and they’d watch rehearsals, especially when we were doing big action scenes. It was cool to share that experience with them.

“It was one of those weird, personal life converging with professional life things in a very organic way, which was kind of similar to my experience on ‘The Lego Movie’ as well,” Arnett happily acknowledges. “But now I’m gonna have to start thinking of some new, big, follow-up tricks, y’know? I think I’m just gonna let their interests dictate what kinds of parts I do from now on.”

Higher quality version of the Still.

It's a cool pic...I just wanna see trutles, of the teenage mutant ninja variety

Vernon didn't look that cool in the cartoons. Was kind of a sissy or metrosexual narcissist but it's Will Arnett so whatever I can look past it.

My main problem still, with that pic, is with the new Foot Clan (even if they're knocked out) but everyone knows my thoughts on them.

Yeah. They very noticeably cut down on the shot of Mikey's face, yet lingered on the shot of Fox fainting. It was pretty obvious what they were doing there.
YOU MEAN IN THE 30 SECONDS LONG TV SPOT THAT WAS 30 SECONDS LONG?

:cwink:

And once again YES THE ONE WHERE THEY FELT 30 SECONDS WAS TOO SHORT TO LET US SEE MIKEY'S FACE BUT WE TOOK A GOOD, LONG LOOK AT MEGAN FOX PRETENDING TO FAINT.

The length of the ad has nothing to do with that editing choice.

pretending to faint.
Otherwise known as acting.

It's kinda hard to judge the performance at all because trailers are too short to do that and she didn't even speak.

I really do need to look up some good faints. In the action comedy(kids cartoon adaptation) genre at that.
Sadly, I believe this is sort of thing is what this film is and has always been up against. I wish it luck.

In the mean time, perhaps re-watching the April meeting turtles scene in the original(poorly reviewed) and highly celebrated film will benefit all parties(it's on youtube). I assume they will be going for that sort of tone again. Something I think is in Fox' wheel house.

Mostly I think it's hilarious that they felt the need to dig up this trope from the bottom of the "abandoned cliches" barrel. You just can't get away with the old "my dainty mind cannot handle these shocking sights" faint unless you're abandoning all realism for the sake of cartoonish comedy. And that's because it's one of those film tropes that just doesn't happen in real life, and we all know that.

Oh I've said on here before how much I hate that she faints in the trailer.

OMG Megan wrote the script!!! :wow::o:doh:

Posting academy memorabilia next to sight gags in a tent pole to prove a point. Next week we'll do thor.

Her faint face seems more like her O-face though. lol

Reminds me of "****ed In My Pants":

Or....

"If things go well I might be showing her my O-face. "Oh... oh...."

Maybe that's what that ugly, poor excuse for a Turtle this new Michelangelo wants to do with her. After all, there was some meme passed around that looked like he wanted to give her a 'shell of a good time.' :p

But in all seriousness, it's a little hard to judge Fox's fainting whether it's believable or not, but I have seen better by other actresses. Fox, to me, is an actress that has potential but I feel she needs to do a lot more serious stuff and possibly more TV to see if she's just some pretty face who usually gets half-naked or could really be something Emmy or Oscar-quality. Again, I wish we had better as April O'Neil.

I'm laughing so hard at your desperation to defend this woman. I never said she wrote the script. That entire post you quoted is not a criticism of Megan Fox's acting skills, or lack therof.

Are you guys seriously analyzing the reasoning behind a faint and the acting of said faint? Come on. Grasping for straws here

You know what also doesn't happen in real life? Giant mutated turtles. It is a MOVIE. Movies are filled to the brim with stuff that doesn't happen in real life.

^Thank you. And my post had nothing to do with defending Fox... I don't know where that even came from.

Gnarly tribute video from the naruto(and other) fan tribute video guys.
