My brother linked me to an article about this movie today. Never heard about. The only thing I've seen of this movie is a crowd reaction video. Watching it tonight in San Francisco. Hope it lives up!

I thought it was..maybe not the scariest of all time buts its still scary....at the very least its creepier than the majority of recent movies that have been out for the last number of years.

Saw this last night in a full theater and had alot of fun. One woman was sobbing after it was over...heh.
Loved how this was treated as "real" and the actors looked like normal people and not ultra thin model types. The lack of music helped too.
So glad Paramount decided to ditch the remake idea (if it was actually true) and release the film as is.

This is one of the few films that is actually better than the hype. Not only is the film extremely terrifying, it is also well directed and realistically acted.

This is a strong movie that should please both hardcore horror fans and casual viewers equally, something that's very difficult to do.

After watching Paranormal Activity, you might be inclined to sleep with the lights on for a week or four.

Awesome news for people like me in places like me with onlt 100 demands.

I just went to the site and voted for it myself. I live in Sumter, South Carolina and was surprised to see 82 people have demanded it. Of course I was the 83rd person that just demanded it as well.

its pretty darn scary, man....for guys that get scared more by demons rather than murderers with knives (like me)...this thing will make you pretty shaky after watchin it

^ I've NEVER been scared by a film, unless you count those cheap shock moments. Otherwise, I have been unfazed in my young adult life. Will this break that curse?

Just the notion of something I haven't experience yet has my blood boiling with excitement. Especially since it's not a major release, so it's special if you get the chance to see it.

I just found out a theater an hour away is doing away with midnight screenings and is doing showings all day Friday through Sunday.

I love rec!
this was scarier IMO
but we all have different opinions of course..what made this movie more enjoyable for me was going in with a mindset of "what if this was real"
theres a scene in there thats really scary

the girl begged her bf not to get a ouija board but he didnt take the demon seriously so he bought it after a night of her getting demon possesed and standing over his bed watching him then going outside and laying down...so she fights with him and they leave the house and he puts the camera up and puts the board on the table...after they leave the board moves and spells something out...then sets on fire...when they get back demonic markings are burned on the board and she begins yelling at him again cause hes inviting it to mess with them more...to me that was creepy
