I think they may be avoiding some of the harder drugs and crazy heavy drink binges of the old days, but the lure of hot and easy women will have remained the same.

The nature of a man will never change. I don't blame the guys for getting theirs on the road, but damn do not do it if you are married. That's just wrong and causes all kinds of unwanted pain and problems.

Given how clueless Hogan clearly is I am not surprised, I just wish these were things being said more articulately by someone stable like Sting.

Unfortunately Sting isn't a political or outspoken guy. He's simply to humble for that kind of business. I'd love to hear him speak his mind about how he really feels, but he's always been the type to go out of his way not to bury people in public. In my opinion, based on interviews I've read and heard from Sting, I think he has too much respect for guys of the stature of Hulk, Vince, or Flair and their place in the business to ever be outspoken about them. Even to this day, he tries to be careful in the way he answers the Starrcade 97 question. You can tell he knows there were schenanigans about that match, but he never comes right out and says it.

I'm glad Steiner is calling Hogan and Bischoff out on their crap though, even if it takes me a second to decipher his texts.

Funnily enough I watched this match just last week, I think it is the best match they had and that Rude is actually Sting's best opponent after Vader.

Everyone in the thread should really check this match out.

I'm surprised you have Rude that high on the list of opponents for Sting. I for sure would have thought it was Flair. Rude was one of his great opponents. I would certainly put him in my top 3 or 4.

The AJ/Dixie affair insinuation on Impact has me scratching my head. If he is in a relationship with Dixie then shouldn't AJ have a more prominent role in TNA right now? He must be a bad lover lol.

It's a flat out stupid storyline and leaves me shaking my head. You'd swear Russo was still booking if you watched that segment. I feel bad for AJ. So much talent being wasted in a idiotic mid-card storyline.

Wait, AJ/Dixie bumping uglies? Hahaha.

I'm sure it will come out as some kind of swerve or lie that Kaz and Daniels cooked up. Doesn't change the fact it is a horrible storyline.

X-Division wrestlers tend to be faster, in more ways than one.

Just caught Impact, I like the continuing arc for Storm and the 4 way was solid and the concept behind it might have seemed more interesting if the show wasn't littered with RVD "sacrifice" video packages which told you the outcome was never in doubt.

The actual end of the show was horribly produced, new music that no one reacted to, no call from Taz or Tenay and the editing created zero tension, then to top it all off you have your 4 main event guys all selling this big goofball like he's the frigging Undertaker.

Looking forward to Bully Ray and Aries at Sacrifice, I wonder if that was Morgan's last appearence or just a set up for a feud between him and Bully.

On a side note, Velvet and Brooke may well be Butt-beautiful, but their match was Butt-ugly. :csad:

I agree, they should make their choice and stick to it and common sense should tell them that there's only one choice that will be fair to all parties.

I noticed in one of the first radio interviews he gave after WCW was bought by Vince, he tip toed around the Starrcade mess which surprised me, I mean respect is one thing but Hogan screwed him and royally.

It's good that someone is, I just wish it was someone who was more of an influential and respectable voice.

To be honest I think that while Sting vs Flair is a marquee match that defined WCW as a brand in the 90's, their matches were often very much the same routine repeated. Sting had evolved as a worker by the time the Rude matches happened and they were all quite different.

I had a feeling it was going to be an affair angle but I didn't expect it to be with Dixie, and how could TNA not realize to get the crappy angle over you need to show the pics on the tron? The Impact crowd seemed to have no idea what was going on.

As a side note I've been impressed with Daniels mic and character work lately, I could see him as the manager of a stable in the future.

The storm videos were well done. They are building up his story very nicely. I'd like to imagine his return will be a great one. He looked like he was in better physical shape in his videos as well. I truly hope they build this up with Storm capturing the title from Roode at BFG.

The rest of Impact I didn't care for that much. I was just bored with the show mostly, though I'm glad they are building up Ms. Assmacher. She shouldn't win the title, but I'm hoping she's made to look competitive in her bout with Gail. RVD agreeing to put up his title shot in a four way made him look stupid and made no sense. Of course every angle with Hulk putting in some kind of new stipulation makes zero sense. Daniels has always been solid on the mic. I'd love to see him as a manager or commentator when his in-ring career is done.

If Sting came out publically against Hulk, that would be huge and would send a message. I wish he would. It's the kind of move that would at least make Dixie pause and think for a moment. Sting really should be playing the role of Godfather that Undertaker plays backstage in WWE. He's respected enough that he could. Sting seems to want no part of that type of role though.

I see what you mean with Flair and Sting. That's a fair point. Their matches were usually the same, but so good I could not help but mark out every time they were in the ring. Their chemistry was off the charts and they always looked like they were having the greatest time out there. Sting once told a story about their matches and them trying to do different stuff, but Flair basically told him their matches were what Babe Ruth's homer runs were. The fans didn't come to see Ruth hit doubles or any other hits. They came to see him hit homers. That's why so many of their matches had the same formula with few little twists.

Sting's in-ring ability shined with guys like Rude, Muta, and Vader. Sting also had a knack for carrying big-men to decent matches as well.

One of my favorite Bobby "The Brain" Heenan moments. Classic Heenan :funny:

World Wide Wrestling on Saturday nights...I remember that like yesterday.

Not that Dixie doesn't have her milfy moments but the whole thing is more confusing than shocking. They could be using AJ better.

I can't see this story gaining much traction. Who would believe it in any way? I compare it to Savage/Liz/Flair storyline where we also saw scandalous photos. Everybody KNEW Flair was lying but it worked because it showed you how dirty he was willing to be. Flair did what he did it to shake Savage's confidence. I don't see how the Dixie/AJ scandal benefits anyone. There is no title up for grabs and Daniels has already hurt AJ so now what? Beat him? After that? The stakes just aren't big enough. The photos have to be doctored storyline wise. Making it an affair would be beyond stupid.

I feel sorry for Cena and his wife, but then I feel sorry for his wife if Cena really came up to her about the divorce first while she wanted to work things out.
Cena reportedly turned to his wife, tears in his eyes, waved his hand over his face and said

~sob~ YOU CAN'T SEE ME!

He then ran off.

WWE Shifting NXT Tapings To Full Sail University In Winter Park, Florida

Posted by Daniel Pena on 05/11/2012

Beginning next Thursday, WWE's WWE NXT and FCW Wrestling tapings will emanate from Full Sail University's multi purpose performance venue in Winter Park, Florida. Tickets for the events are free to university staff and students with ID as long as they are reserved in advance.

The events, which are being branded as WWE Superstar Showdown, are taking place near the company's developmental facility in Tampa, Florida as means to integrate Florida Championship Wrestling talent on NXT more smoothly. Company officials hope the "university feel" will give the show better crowd reactions as well as to upgrade the look of Florida Championship Wrestling programming.

Triple H, WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent, is heavily involved with the project. He was said to be a high on the facility after scouting it with other WWE executives last year.

Triple H is advertised for Thursday's event, which will also feature World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio and WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and R-Truth vs. Epico and Primo. Events are also scheduled for June 14, July 5, July 19, August 9, August 23, September 6 and September 20.

If it's a major smark crowd no doubt, but I don't imagine he'll get much from the crowds over this. Now if he showed up at the Hammerstein ballroom then it would be the only thing audible in that building. Along with an attempt or two at crucifying him.

The Avengers do not impress CM Punk lol

Poor Kaitlyn got steamrolled by AJ....

Kaitlyn looks like she has the physique to take on Beth.

I actually was surprised to see little AJ completely squash Kaitlyn. RUTHLESS AGRESSION.

I loved seeing AJ squash Kaitlyn and Yes Kaitlyn could have taken Beths spot on Raw when she went sown with the ankle injury in up Strong indeed! I do love seeing ruthless aggression AJ tho

Do people care enough about Teddy as a character that stealing his girlfriend will get Cesaro heat?

Why did they resurrect Wasp for that photo? They should have left her dead.

Horrible storyline. Not a bad idea, though, if I were AJ.
