The storm videos were well done. They are building up his story very nicely. I'd like to imagine his return will be a great one. He looked like he was in better physical shape in his videos as well. I truly hope they build this up with Storm capturing the title from Roode at BFG.

If they follow this it will be some of the best booking done in years and show a great rebound ability after Hogan got the angle off to a messy start when his ego screwed up last years BFG. A year long title chase in this day and age is tremendous.

The rest of Impact I didn't care for that much. I was just bored with the show mostly, though I'm glad they are building up Ms. Assmacher. She shouldn't win the title, but I'm hoping she's made to look competitive in her bout with Gail. RVD agreeing to put up his title shot in a four way made him look stupid and made no sense. Of course every angle with Hulk putting in some kind of new stipulation makes zero sense. Daniels has always been solid on the mic. I'd love to see him as a manager or commentator when his in-ring career is done.

Gail carried Velvet to a solid match at Lockdown so she should be able to do the same withh Brooke. I didn't have a problem with RVD putting his title shot up in order to gain the ladder stip, I think it fit with his big ego and recklessness. Daniels has always been articulate but I think recently he's found more guile and personality in his character and subsequent mic work.

If Sting came out publically against Hulk, that would be huge and would send a message. I wish he would. It's the kind of move that would at least make Dixie pause and think for a moment. Sting really should be playing the role of Godfather that Undertaker plays backstage in WWE. He's respected enough that he could. Sting seems to want no part of that type of role though.

The Taker comparison is spot on but I guess you can't put something into someone's personality that isn't there, and Sting is unlikely to change at his age.

I see what you mean with Flair and Sting. That's a fair point. Their matches were usually the same, but so good I could not help but mark out every time they were in the ring. Their chemistry was off the charts and they always looked like they were having the greatest time out there. Sting once told a story about their matches and them trying to do different stuff, but Flair basically told him their matches were what Babe Ruth's homer runs were. The fans didn't come to see Ruth hit doubles or any other hits. They came to see him hit homers. That's why so many of their matches had the same formula with few little twists.

That's interesting given his revered series with Steamboat had very varied matches, I wonder if maybe at the time he felt Sting was too inexperienced and thus sticking to a popular formula was safest. What is your favourite Sting vs Flair match?

Sting's in-ring ability shined with guys like Rude, Muta, and Vader. Sting also had a knack for carrying big-men to decent matches as well.

Sting was the perfect atheltic babyface to work with monster heels. Have you seen his match with Regal at GAB 96? I think it showed how far Sting had came as a worker.

SD once again showed that spoilers don't tell the full story, I thought the Fatal 4 Way got some good development through the failed tag and the two singles matches, it has crafted a beef between all 4 guys and the matches were decent.

I also thought Truth vs Swagger was surprisingly good and AJ squashing Kaitlyn was a surprise, the spoilers said it was a physical match, Bryan's post match *****eness was great as always, I just wonder what the pay-off will be.

Young and O'Neil are an impressive team, I never in a million years thought these two would be entertaining but they are! and their match with CoBro was solid.

Ryback needs to be defined, this Goldberg style push wont work in this era IMO.

Cesaro on the other hand is already interesting despite hideous music and pointless Rugby past. He's getting a bit of heat off Teddy, Oksana is a good fit with him and in ring he's been impressive.

You guys remember that CNN documentary Death Grip? For years, I wondered who the mystery wrestler was that got interviewed and after giving it some thought, I've finally come to the conclusion it was Lance Storm!

I have always thought it was Shockmaster!

My Best Buys barely have WWE dvds, let alone blurays.

That has a whole new meaning now.

- Wrestlezone has learned, according to several sources, that TNA has run through all of Matt Morgan’s contractual dates with the organization, and therefore creative ran the injury angle on Impact last night to write him off TV. Sources have also confirmed to WZ that WWE has shown a high degree of interest in re-signing Morgan upon the expiration of his contract later this year.

It's worth noting that during an exclusive interview conducted for Pro Wrestling Torch last month, Morgan did say that he would not rule out a potential return to WWE.

- DJ Waleed Coyote, who works for 102 Jamz in Greensboro, North Carolina, is challenging Chris Jericho to a three-on-three no rules match with the proceeds from the match going to North Carolina music charities.
The DJ says he was involved in a verbal altercation with Chris Jericho at The Treasure Club in the early hours of May 7th. Reportedly Jericho was with R-Truth and a WWE referee.

AllHipHop.com reports that Jericho got mad and took Coyote's mobile phone when the man tried taking a photo of Jericho inside the club.

Coyote said: "The thing that bothered me about this dude is that we weren’t formerly introduced and he acted out of line and you can’t do that in North Carolina. He would have done that to anyone in this state and you can’t do that."

Personally I don't think so,Vince will have creative come up with new and improved was to bury Matt just cause he jumped to TNA.

"And make sure he loses to Jerry"

He could come back w/ Christian as his new bodyguard/problem solver.

Is Morgan really worth bringing back?

Book him as a well dressed, articulate monster and I think he could work, I don't feel he's a guy that's ever been well booked in either company and has the ability to be a good big man.

Vince"shuttuppp Matt, your new name shall be David slamchest"

Agreed. Guess we have to wait and see.

I don't know. I found the comment odd. It's possible they found a rythm that they enjoyed working and that was it. I think the difference could be that Steamboat is the kind of guy who was established before Sting so he could tell Flair if he wanted to do something different and push the envelope. Sting was made by Flair and likely had a high degree of respect for Flair to the point that he went with whatever Flair wanted.

He was. Though those monster heels vs. babyface matches are few and far between in today's wrestling, I think any wrestler should look at Sting's matches for an outline of how to put together a match like that.

This is never pointed out, but Sting was incredibly agile for a man his size. When he was in his prime he probably weighed around 250-260 and was flying over the top rope.

I have. It was a very good match. They really made Regal look strong during that match. He dominated with Sting getting the comeback in the end. Regal was completely underutilized in WCW and WWE. It's shame he never was given the chance to have a run at the top.

Is Morgan really worth bringing back?

At this point I would say yes. Morgan has been booked poorly for the most part in his TNA run and at this point he would be a fresh face in WWE and likely booked as a monster (something TNA has never been able to do with properly with Morgan).

He will be better booked in FCW

The thing with Morgan is he's a decent talker and is athletic for a 7 footer, so I think he has some value.

Is Morgan really worth bringing back?

I think he's miles better now than he was back then since he's improved his craft especially when he had that stuttering gimmick during his last WWE tenure. Good Lord that was awful!

The question is will they use him right like TNA did or is he going to be a benchwarmer?
