- The widow of Ultimate Warrior, Dana Warrior, is upset with remarks Hulk Hogan made to Grantland concerning her deceased husband. In the video interview that we posted earlier today, Hogan recounted his final encounter with Warrior, their contentious relationship, and how he learned of his shocking death.

Dana issued a statement on Facebook and Twitter tonight requesting that he not comment on her ex-husband. Her statement reads:

“Statement from Dana Warrior

“I’ve been really quiet since the passing of my husband and the father of my girls. Someone sent me what Mr Bollea had to say in video interview with Grantland yesterday and I would just like to ask him to stop.

“He is the only person in the WWE Universe who did not give a call or send a card. My girls asked why he didn’t check on us like everyone else and I explained simply there isn’t a camera at our mailbox or in the house when we receive our calls.

“I would ask respectfully Mr Bollea, for you to understand my girls hurt and just let some time pass before you say anything more.

“Dana A Warrior.”

How much of your time does rehab take up?

I literally wake up, take the dog out, go to physical therapy number one, drive about half an hour to physical therapy number two, from there I go to my acupuncture and from there to my ART [Active Release Technique].

And that’s every day. It’s physically and mentally exhausting, but I’m doing my best to get better so I can come back as soon as possible.

When do you think that return might happen?

I mean, I’m hoping soon, but I don’t think the doctors are thinking it’s going to be that soon. The problem is nobody really knows. I’m doing my best to recover as fast as possible.

Would you want to come back in a non-wrestling capacity?

I don’t know. I feel like if I can come back to wrestle, then it’s best to just wait until I can come back to wrestle. Not being around is good for when you come back — if you’re constantly being seen and that sort of thing. I’d rather just be off getting better.

There’s been two high-profile WWE signings from NJPW recently. How excited are you about KENTA and Prince Devitt becoming Superstars?

I’m really excited, really excited. People’s eyes are going to be opened with KENTA. He just brings a different style that we’ve never seen in the WWE before. Tajiri threw a lot of kicks, but they weren’t as intense as KENTA’s. Being on the receiving end of KENTA’s kicks is one of those things that translates very well to the audience because you can see it, but somehow the audience is almost able to feel it. The noise, the impact. Everything. It’s gonna be exciting, and it’s gonna make everybody step up their game.

Do you have certain guys you do like to hang out with backstage?

Yeah. I like pretty much everybody. Some guys I like because I’ve known them for years, and some guys I like just because they’re funny, and some guys I like just because I like giving them crap. And so: Big E. If anybody is [reading] this or on Twitter, go ask Big E what he thinks about 9/11! [Laughs] Those kind of things. I really like Ryback, Cesaro and Seth Rollins, too. Heath Slater entertains me to no end as far as him as a human being. William Regal has been a mentor of mine for years. Whenever I get to see him, it’s great. Kane. Very interesting character. We’ve got a lot of fun, cool people backstage.

Do you ever follow any of the chatter about yourself online?

Do you read things like message boards, Twitter and Reddit?

I guess I don’t know how, per se. I’m barely on Twitter. There’s just so much stuff on the Internet. I try to use the Internet only when I need to find out information, because anything else you just get lost in a pool of whatever. The only time I look at message boards is when I’m looking for books to read. And I have a specific site I use. I don’t even know what it is because it’s saved on my computer. It’s good books to read and people are constantly suggesting what they just read. Right now I’m reading a book called Thinking Fast and Slow. It’s really interesting, and I found that from this message board. So that’s the one thing that I do! [Laughs]

- WWE Network will air a “Journey to SummerSlam” special on Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose this coming Wednesday night at 8pm EST. The synopsis reads like this:

“Witness the journeys of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns – from their humble beginnings to the biggest event of the summer!”

- Dean Ambrose will indeed be missing some WWE TV time as he films WWE Studios action thriller Lockdown. Filming is scheduled to begin at the end of this month but because it is a WWE movie, Ambrose will likely be able to get certain dates off to continue his feud with Seth Rollins.

We’ve noted how Vince McMahon really wants The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar to main event WrestleMania 31 next year but “put the word out” a few months ago that creative should get Roman Reigns built up enough that he could be ready for that main event spot also, if The Rock doesn’t return. It was also said at the time that WWE would likely do a Reigns vs. Lesnar feud regardless if it’s for WrestleMania 31 or not.

Word now is that Vince wants to do everything possible to convince The Rock to come back ans face Lesnar but Triple H wants to do Reigns vs. Lesnar. While a lot of power has shifted to Triple H lately, Vince is still head of creative and will likely hold on to that power for several more years to come.

- While AAA may be taking chances by having Alberto Del Rio appear for them, they are making it clear that they do not want a lawsuit from WWE for tampering with Rey Mysterio’s contract. With that said, Mysterio is likely talking to AAA’s Konnan all the time as they are good friends.

AAA officials were originally under the impression that Del Rio would be able to wrestle for them at TripleMania on Sunday but WWE informed them he couldn’t. WWE originally wanted to lock Del Rio up in a 10 or 11 month non-compete in the United States and obviously were successful as it was reported yesterday that Del Rio can’t wrestle in the US for one year, possibly because he was found to breach of his deal.

Yeah, I get that impression too.

Although for a T-shirt, I think "Who Reigns?" on the front and "Roman" on the back (with some kind of "fist" logo) would be perfect.
