Personal Questions

Somebody, make some controversial questions, like "Are you a virgin?", even though we have to have some "friendlier" questions like "How much do you weigh?", etc. We need some spice, but it's impossible to have spice every time, and when people complain about the question, it sure as hell doesn't help.

The current question is:

Would you kill someone to save someone you love?

maybe there does need some structure. originally i was under the impression that only the thread creator could make up questions. then others chimed in.

No anyone can, but it has to be 24 hours after the previous question has been asked. This gives everyone ample time to answer. It would help if everyone just answered the current question, but people seem to want to answer everything regardless.

GAH did a thread just based on the "Are you a virgin?" It was hilarious.

The New Question Is:

How much do you weigh?

The whole 'saving a loved one' idea has been always a weird one for me

now the question itself is a very open one and most people will think about it in the hollywood fashion of a bad guy having al oved one yadda yadda yadda

but look at it from this angle

your wife is in painful labour and your child needs to be born otherwise it will be born stillborn. Now delivery the baby alive would cause massive trauma and bloodloss to your wife, potentially killing her, but then treating your wife first would cause for the baby to then be born dead.

What does one do in such a situation, who becomes the loved one and who are you willing to allow to die in order for the other to live?

HOnestly, i doubt i'd ever really care enough about any individual to purposely change the course of their fate for my own selfsish needs, especially not anymore than anyone else.

however, if i was in the majority of people who would say yes, i wouldn't limit this to purely loved ones and i would do what was necessary to alleviate an innocent person's harm (but then again the question doesn't say whether your loved one is innocent or not, i'm merely making assumptions based on hollywood movie logic again).

People can't be bothered to go back a page or two and find out when the question was asked :whatever:

How many women will answer this dreaded question?

I've never understood the issue with women and weight. Seriously it's just a number... and if you're ugly, how fat you are doesn't matter anyway. :o

Apparently none. I don't want everyone to think I'm fat. :csad:

No one would think that. Everyone on the hype are here to provide a supportive enviroment....I'm sorry, I can't even finish that joke.

Who said I was ugly? :csad:

Lol. Nice attempt.

Seriously though, I'll step up, I was like 130ish last I checked.
