Human breast Milk: Nutritionally superior to Cow's. Why then not drink it every day?

Would anyone here eat cheese made from human milk, like in 'Borat'?

Wow, this thread just gave me a Dave Chappelle flashback.

Human Breast milk would cause more to the obesity rate as it's meant to make babies grow.

Considering Cows need more calories to grow suggests that human breast milk might be healthier for humans, because it was made/designed for human consumption, whereas as cows milk wasn't.

It is scientifically proven that human breast milk is far more nutritionally superior to cows' milk, for us. Then why don't we drink it on a day to day basis; in our cereal, or put it in our coffee? If you think about it , we as humans are the only mammals that nurse our young on the milk of another animal. I mean come on, let's face it, you don't see Dogs feeding their pups on cat milk. Or see Whales feeding their calfs on camel milk. We as human beings are always doing things that don't make a lot of sense.

Can you actually see yourself pouring breast milk on your cocoa crispes every morning.? I know it sounds gross, but that's only because we've been raised to think that way. Nutritionally speaking, though, our bodies would appreciate the health benefits.

Your thoughts......

How exactly are we gonna produce human breast milk for mass consumption? From volunteer women that will pe paid per a drop of milk?
And why keep drinking milk after the age of infancy? All the good nutrients that our mother's milk offers us when we are born, are meant exactly for that short period cause we can't digest food. After that, we don't have to depend on any source of milk.
The only reason animal milk exists for mass consumption today, is because it is good for the economy and the industry that sells it. Nothing more.

Exactly. That, and people would be naturally wary of drinking a complete stranger's milk, due to unknown factors like drug-use or disease.

Are thousands (millions?) of pre-screened pregnant women really going to line up like livestock and stick their breasts in automated milkers? It's a ridiculous, impractical and very creepy idea.

I am the husband. My wife and I are pro-breastfeeding and she does so with our daughter, no exceptions. She would like to continue until Ella is about two and then we're switching to soy if any milk at all.

It is good that you guys are pro breastfeeding and don't keep animal's milk anywhere near your kid but why risk going with soy milk afterwards? I hear that it is mostly GMO produced and not that healthy. A better alternative would be almond or coconut milk. Plus you can easily make almond milk in a blender instead of buying it.

I think I'll just stick to drinking regular milk.

Consume enough almonds, die of cyanide poisoning*. :wow:

Mainly wild ones but my point still stands. You can make anything deadly if you twist the truth enough.

^^^
Did you know that 100% of people that drink water will eventually die?

Breathing oxygen is also slowly killing us.

I stopped drinking milk years ago...only Almond milk for me now. Has better flavor and it's been shown to be healthier than regular milk.

I can see large human farms with women just sitting around watching TV with machines hooked up to their breast sucking the milk away.

Doesn't exactly sound like the best job eh?

Plus the amount a woman produces in a day isn't that much and it would have to be some big freaking farms

Yeah, but why not eat the almond in its natural form instead of processing it and drink it as a milk? Yes it is healthier but it also contains too much fat and protein. A few almonds in your palm should be ok for a week and you can somewhat control the quantity you eat and its quality.

I use it for cereal :)

I wonder if drinking breast milk could be the answer for all those ppl that are lactose intolerant?
No. Absolutely not. All mammalian milk contains lactose, and human milk tends to contain MORE lactose than cow's milk.

I prefer to avoid processed fruit and nut. For a short period of time I was drinking almond, rice and vanilla milk but dropped them eventually. There are so many things going wrong with the way the goods are proccessed and arrive to our table that I try to avoid them as much as possible.
But damn, how I would like to give coconut milk a try for once. Sadly, it is not available where I live but I bet it tastes wonderful.

Thats why the price for it would be HUGE and only rich people would buy it.

As long as it was clean I don't I'd be too picky but can you imagine the market for celebrity breastmilk cheeses?
