I found this petition on PetitionOnline.com. I signed it. Don't know if it will go anywhere, but it is worth a go.

The petition states....

"This petition is for any fan of comic books and Super-heros and would like to watch them 24 hours a day.

There are many cartoons, movies, TV shows, even specials of super-heroes. Very few of these have been seen for a long time and are in demand to be seen again. This is a good way to get them all together and enjoy"
Sincerely,

The Undersigned."

Have a look, and have a go.
You never know what may come of it.

Sounds great, but is there really enough superhero stuff you can show for 24 hours a day?

Warner Bros. seems pretty good at releasing DVDs from the last 40 years as well as other companies.

It may have to deal with rights, certain companies and corporations owning certain properties may make it difficult.

Plus this is vague with no mention of superheroes or directed to any company. If the this could make money it would be out now, Hollywood loves the superhero.

And they'll call it Hype! TV

:hyper:

The idea doesn't seem very sound. They'd have to dig out all the old TV shows, including the obscure ones like The Shazam/Isis Hour and Electra Woman & Dyna-Girl. They'd have to get their hands on every animated series they can afford. They'd have to air a movie everyday. And you know what? They'd still have to air Paid Programming during late nights just to pay the bills.

After a few years, if they've finally started making a steady profit (what with the costs of keeping their network afloat and buying the rights to air stuff from other companies), they can finally afford to create one or two original superhero-based programs. Low budget ones.

Yes there is and you wouldn't have to dig up every show like menitoned below. I Have been trying to figure this out for some time, and though if no one else did it, and I ever got enough captial, I might try to do a all superhero channel. but that was a dream, while there is certainly enough programming espically if Hollwoody keeps pumping out movie, the probablem is obtaining the right to air the shows. The best way for a all superhero channel to work is to have it has a pay for Channel like HBO, witch sucks, cause I rather have it on Basic cable. I know you wouldn't have to dig up every superhero show made, because I wrote out a time table on a pice of paper and put the superhero shows I did know on it. I am willing to bet the people on the forms know far more superhero show than I do. I always hoped a day of programming would look something like this.

1. The Increable Hulk - tv show from 70s with Bill Bixbee
2. Batman show of 70s starring Adam West
3. Smallville - seen old smallville eps on cable already its about money to WB
4. The new adventures of Lois and Clark
5. Wonder Women Show from the 70s
6. Superman TAS/ Batman TAS
7. The Legion of Superheroes / Teen Titans
8. The Batman / Batman Beyond
9. The Amazing Spiderman and Friends/ Spiderman TAS
10. x-men tas / x-men evloution
11. Justice League / Justice League Unimited
12. Static Shock / Superfriends
13. Birds of Prey
14. Heroes - there on Scifi so I think the superhero channel can get them but again it's paying NBC
15. New Fantastic Four / Fantastic Four cartoons from the 70s
16. SHAZAM cartoons / Hawkman cartoons 70s
17. Underdog / Spaceghost
18. Superman / Batman Hour
19. Spider-women cartoons / Hulk cartoons 70s
20. Batman cartoons / Superman cartoons 70s
21. MTV Spiderman / Spiderman Unlimited
22. Avengers / Sliver Sufer 90s cartooons
23. Original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles / TMNT
24. Aquaman / don't know if its superman or Batman hour.

I would hope the programming would be something like these but be able to get some of the show right now to like Batman the Brave and the Bold, Wolverine and the x-men, and even Ben 10 after they have a last episodes or been running awhile that the stations would sell them or allow a superhero channel to air them. Tracking down most of the show I listed wouldn't be that hard cause a lot of them still aired in the 90s on regular cable. Notice how I didn't list movie or Special witch would definatlly have to be added in.

It was regular cable that introduced me to the Amazing Spiderman and friends, the only episode I saw was firestar's origin and wanted to see more. Of course some of these shows you would not be able to obtain, but most of them i think you could but I would try if I was doing it. and I know there are over 50 superhero movies, you guys could probably list 100. however the big probablems alway come back to money. So I think i would agree on cutting air space in order to air those losey, crappy annoying infocomericals at werid hours of the night along with haveing it has a pay for channel, it might work then. but aqurieing the rights would be a nightmare.
