Marvel Films Phase Five

On the matter of Inhumans. . . well, okay, there's no such think as an absolutely unworkable story premise. However, I'm comfortable saying that the Inhumans would be a *harder* story to make work as a functional, appealing movie, than basically everything Marvel Studios has done or plans to do. The core problem is that. . . essentially? Attilan is a xenophobic monarchy based on eugenics and slavery, and the heroes are all the ruling royalty who run the place. Yes, a major point is that Black Bolt is a genuine dyed in the wool saint who is using his crown to reform the society into something not-awful. He still has his power, because of said caste system and eugenic breeding program. And its not always the case that even all the other inhuman "heroes" share his same horror at their own society.

Can you make this the centerpiece of a movie? Sure, theoretically. Theoretically, you could tell the tale of Fuhrer Adolf XXIII of the Eternal Reich, who is a prodigious saint who realized that Nazi Oppression Is Wrong, and is using his Aryan Genetic Superpowers to beat humanity back into his society. *Should* you spend the effort on telling this story, rather than almost any other story? Kind of doubtful.

Black Panther had a monarchy that was still using trial by combat to decide who would lead the nation and set the agenda for their policy towards the wider world. I don't think that Marvel studios is one to let that kind of real world analysis get in the way of their fantasy fun.

I don’t think it’s that hard to do. It’s downton abbey in space. Bam, there’s a billion bucks right there

Downton Abbey didn't involve eugenics and slavery as literally part of the plot. Not even as subtext, but as flat out text.

2022
Black Panther 2
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. III
Spider-Man Out of Home

2023
Captain Marvel 2
Ant-Man 3
Blade

2024
Fantastic Four
Avengers 5
X-Men

yas?

Then the sequels for Shang-Chi, Doctor Strange and Eternals for 2025 to kick off PhasiX.
2022
Black Panther 2 (Feb)
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (May)
Ant-Man and the Wasp Plus Stature (Jul)

2023
Captain Marvel InTwo Space (Mar)
Blade (May)
Fantastic Four (Nov)

2024
Avenger5 (Apr)

Eternals Chapter Two (Nov)

If we don't get Spidey 3 in phas5, I hope they'll fast track Ant-Man 3 especially if Peyton Reed will return to direct. Aside from those who were already mentioned in this year's SDCC, I'd save another new ip to get a movie for phasiX. Then we'll get Eternals 2 3 years after the 1st one instead of four years.

PhasiX
2025
Shang-Chi and the Two More Legends (Feb)
New franchise (female solo, May)
Doctor Strange in the Insanity of Timeloop (Nov)

2026
Black Panther 3 (Feb)
Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer (May)
Blade II (Nov)

2027
Captain Marvel in Threeble (March)
Avengersix (May)
X-Men² (July)

2022

Jul - Fantastic Four

2023
Feb/Mar - Black Knight
May - Guardians Of The Galaxy 3
Nov - Blade

2024
Feb - Silver Surfer
May - Avengers 5
Nov - Eternals 2

???

I still think we are getting gotg 3 and Blade before F4 simply because they already have actor/s for the lead role.

I suppose this is more.likely but I think think what the blanks would be?...

2022
Feb - ???
May - Black Panther 2
Jul - Guardians Of The Galaxy 3

2023
Feb/Mar - Captain Marvel 2
May - ???
Nov - Blade

2024
Feb - ???
May - Avengers 5
Nov - Eternals 2

Heros return to the earth that was once home Post-Endgame. They realize instead it's Battleworld.

Wouldn't it be the best twist evah! :oldrazz:

Has the Spider-Man news changed anyone's predictions?

Undertaker vs Trump would work for me. :cwink:

Phas5

2022- Ant-Man and the Wasp with Stature, Black Panther II, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
2023- Blade, Captain Marvel 2, Eternals 2
2024- Fantastic Four, aVengers, X-Men

Phas5

I prefer Fantastic Four for 2022. It is the 60th anniversary of the Fantastic Four. There's no reason to put it in 2024.

Unless casting begins in late 2020, okay. But I doubt FF would be released before Blade especially when they cast Blade much earlier.

Anyway, I don't mind Thor 4 moving to 2022 as the early 2022 date is still a big mystery to me and its currently radio silence with Ant-Man 3.

Blade is gonna be the February 2022 release date. If you look back at the previous MCU release dates, it seems like Kevin Feige doesn't like to have sequels released one after the other after the other, it's usually 2 sequels then followed by a new franchise. With 2021 now having 3 sequels released back-to-back-to-back, the first date in 2022 has to be for a new IP.

Well they are releasing Black Widow-Eternals-shang Chi in that order then we are getting 3 sequels after that. I feel like they might want as well release Ant-Man 3 after Thor 4 to get another 3quel out of the way before, they release a movie for a new ip like Blade, F4 and Mutants.

3 iconic teams on the same year is 99% unlikely.
Kevin will separate them on different years, no doubt about it. Avengers & F4 on same year? maybe. But Av, X-Men and F4 all on the same year no way lol

A lot of teams being introduced overall could be kind of dangerous

Eternals
Guardians
F4
Avengers
X- Men

Inhumans maybe

who am I missing? lol

possible midnight sons?

there is a reason Kevin hasnt announced any of the rumored ones. Once Guardians trilogy is over, Feige will put the focus on another team, but as of right now, I dont see him announcing New Avengers, Inhumans or any other new-new team.

Is that a tease for Antman 3?
Not necessarily; he’s likely making this reference to jokingly illustrate the level of importance this apparent forthcoming meeting will have on the future of the MCU. The things that will discussed will be something in which anyone would wish they could have the ability to shrink down Ant-Man style and eavesdrop on which characters and stories will be discussed at this meeting.

Conrad has reliable Marvel sources, so expect some scoops from him soon about what was discussed/planned after this meeting has happened. I strongly expect some of it will have something to do with the Fox characters & how they will be integrated into the MCU.
