I just wish Marvel would let the Phoenix go...either kill Jean for good or stop putting her in this endless circle of death and rebirth.She has become the Kenny of the X-men.If you arent gonna do something new with Phoenix then let it go.

i dunno. i drew this way back during endsong. i didn't like how emma had her costume. her chest was all covered up with the logo. i think she'd opt for the open chest logo. :P i actually put it together as a joke to some people i know who are die-hard jean/phoenix fans. seeing emma in full phoenix would just make them go crazy. lol.

actually i'd like to think that emma is trying to use the girls to get the phoenix and since 2 of them died already she didn't have enough of them to fully control the phoenix so when she took it, it turned her into the opposite of jean as the white phoenix. thus she is the black phoenix - hate and death incarnate. or some blah nonsense like that. lol.

I'm glad you pointed that out, because it made me laugh the next time I looked at that picture. And I thought the 90s was the muscle era.
