Alright, I'm getting really tired of the constant promos for this movie, just f***ing come out already, so people can be sure to skip it and none of us have to sit through this s*** anymore.

They might've been too young for what the story is going for, but it would've been better if they got say a lot of the Apatow crew (Rogen, Rudd, Segal, Robinson)

I would pay to see Pixels starring Paul Rudd and Craig Robinson.

I mean, if you grew up in the 80s or are just one of those retro hipster 20-somethings, you'll go see this by default. And of course the kiddies will be dying to see it. I think it'll do decent.

I usually don't put much stock in reviews. All of the Friday The 13th movies got horrible reviews back in the 80's, but the first 4 are among my all time favorite horror films. As a more recent example, all of the critics hated the live action Scooby Doo movie, but I thought it was pretty damn funny. Maybe not a perfect movie, it certainly has its flaws, but I enjoyed it.

Sure, Adam Sandler has made some real stinkers as of late. And Kevin James is somewhat over rated, at least as a lead actor. But they've also put in some solid performances in the past. There are very few actors who will cause me to say "I won't see this film because (enter name here) is in it", and neither Adam Sandler nor Kevin James is on that list.

So I'm still looking forward to Pixels.

Have you seen Paul Blart 2? The first name you see in the end credits is Executive Producer Adam Sandler. How a movie like that gets the green light just blows me away. It wasn't worth the $1.50 I spent at redbox.....

If only this had been Disney making this movie they could have put John C. Reilly as a live action Wreck It Ralph in the movie.

I actually got a pass to a free Sony studio screening for this movie in my area this coming Tuesday evening. I plan to go because I honestly wasn't going to pay any money to see this in theaters. I will post my thoughts then Tuesday.

No I haven't, but Kevin James starring and Adam Sandler producing had nothing to do with it. I just thought the movie looked f**king stupid. But Pixels looks like it's gonna be really cool.

Well considering how much they've been using the Pac-Man sequence in the promos I gotta say, that was pretty anti-climactic.

Pixels is getting savaged early on RT. Currently at 16%. The Verge calls it "a middle finger aimed right at the audience." Ouch
