The point is that a gorilla wouldn't get to that point, since they're foragers. Also, they do communicate with each other, which is the key thing needed for organization, only gorillas organize for protection and social reasons, not hunting.
Physically, gorillas and chimps are fairly comparable in physical prowess, and the level of difference in the chances one human would have against either of them is purely academic.
