Playstation 3 becomes fastest selling console in UK history

I'm not sure if you paid attention to Dead Rising or Gear's story, no offense...

In Dead Rising, the biggest threat to you aren't the zombies, it's your fellow man (a pretty big message to miss, btw). Also, the whole incident was caused by Carlito, who was a terrorist (even planned to blow himself and the mall up to spread the infection) but in his eyes was justified due to the american military's experiments unleashing the zombie plague on his village and then wiping everyone there out. That's not your typical evil bad guy. What he does is evil, but you can see why he did it. It's a complex situation, and his sister is dragged into it as well. It's a big slab of Romero endorsed social and political satire that I honestly don't see how anyone could miss.

Oh, I got all that and you know what, it's not very original, I've seen the topic done before in television and movies. It's actually fairly cliched. That's not to say it's not a great game, I had a great time playing it, but the story isn't exactly all you're making it out to be. Yes, it deals with some mautre subjects, but in the end the story is merely a springnboard for you to kill hoards of zombies.

sells dropping 82 % is'nt bad for a country like the UK. the population is small compared to the US. and yeah everyone who wanted the system already got it.

Having a small population does not justify an 82% drop. The "everyone who wanted one got one" does not either, since the Wii consistently sells out and has done ever since it's launch in the UK.

That's the key though the Wii sells out, meaning they are still people out there that want one, but can't buy one. There were still PS3's on the shelf in the UK, so everyone that wanted one during the first week got one.
