White Lotus Interactive’s “go-at-your-own-pace puzzle-adventure game” Xing: The Land Beyond will support PlayStation VR, the studio announced.

Virtual reality support will be integrated “from the way players interact with objects, to the scale and atmosphere of each level, to the overall menu construction,” according to the studio.

In conjunction with PlayStation VR, Xing will also support PlayStation Move. You can use the Move controllers for natural object interaction and throwing mechanics, and versatile motion controllers to move around in the game have been implemented.

A release date for Xing: The Land Beyond has not been announced.

Won't be getting one at launch. Doubt I get one for a year or more.

So... within a Minute Playstation VR was sold out on Amazon.de.

oh damn
Camera sales up almost 1000% on Amazon.

PlayStation VR's release date announcement overnight has led to a huge rise in sales for its required camera accessory.

Sony announced a £349 price for PlayStation VR last night, though this price doesn't include the required PlayStation Camera or any optional Move controllers – PS4's DualShock is good enough for a VR experience.

On Amazon, sales of the PlayStation Camera are up 975 per cent, seeing its sales rank jump from No.215 to No.20. Amazon sells the camera for £39.

Similarly, the PS VR compatible Move Controller has seen its sales rise by 305 per cent, and a PS4 Camera Stand is also up by 243 per cent.

and people thought Sony was going to take a hit on this. Good on them to be selling at a profit right off the gate

i wonder if sony's gonna be surprised with all this demand the same way they were surprised at the Ps4 launch

I think thats one of the reason its been delayed, so production can catch up. That and the launch titles probably arent ready

£350? No thanks.

Literally the same price as a Playstation 4 on launch day.

I think they also realized that launching new hardware in Q4 is the best time to do it. That way sony has something big to compete against nx, not just software.

not only that...it is literally more expensive than the host console itself.

And that is where I draw the line in VR peripherals, not going to pay for an addon more expensive than the base unit itself.

Word. I dunno where I'll be finance wise at the end of this year but it's safe to say psvr will sell millions of units

Well at least we can get some good news out of that, the future of VR looks secure finance wise.

Expect Sony's E3 conference this year to focus heavily on VR.

i think sony's e3 is just gonna be big in general because they also have to promote the last guardian and horizon, their new IPs (last guardian is technically a new IP)

Just because this sold out, doesn't necessarily mean VR is a sure thing. A lot of new tech sells out at first, and it's something that a large number of companies are pushing very hard, so there's a lot of hype behind it. I think it'll be a few years before we can see it's totally secure yet.

oh man there's a lot today. ok so I got a video from EPN.tv with victor lucas at GDC in the rundown and I have some news from pcgamesN.

I'm hoping that the next Spider-Man and Superman games will have a VR mode that lets you feel like you are swinging/flying around like the characters.

Superman cant even get a decent game without VR

Spider-man in VR? That sounds like a recipe for a serious case of motion sickness

I don't know about dc just yet. I'm sure they might have something as well . don't know if it's superman related. So far marvel is in the lead there.
