I'm still going with Spiderman 2 Train battle. The best part of the X3 fight to me didn't even have fighting involved...just when they were all lined up.

Honestly...I think the fights in X3 could've been more epic.

i dont think there many people who would disagree with you.

Yeah, I can see why. The movie was pretty good, but the fights should've been better. Like the Iceman versus Pyro fight for instance. It was too short & we only saw Iceman's ice form for what...two seconds?

^they didnt have the budget to show him for any longer...they had spent it all on 597 different actors to play all of the different mutants they tried to cram in the movie.

That's too bad, really. They should've taken their time, the movie seemed rushed.

I went with Hulk vs. Abomination, though they all hold a special place in my heart.

i'll never forget my jaw dropping the first time i saw the nightcrawler vs secret service fight, and i about wet myself when i watched the sm2 train battle. ironman and hulk were instant favorites....i wish i had made this a multi-pick poll :(

It's a matter of staying power for me; can you watch the fight again & again and still find it awesome? In the case of the Spidey fights, Blade, FF, X-Men, Iron Man & Hulk, the answer is a resounding yes.

I could watch the Hulk versus Abomination fight everyday & still go "DAMN!" everytime. It was an all out brawl.

I voted for the Spider-man 2 train/tower sequence, but, honestly, the Nightcrawler introduction may be the best piece of action Marvel's put to film.

I wish Bryan Singer had done X-3.

no need opening up old wounds...all it will do is depress us:csad:

you just know down in your gut that the whole time ratner was directing all he did was talk about his ideas for rush hour 3....the rat bastard!

X-3 was okay, but didn't match up to the first two movies.

I hate Betty Ratner.

haha, now thats alittle harsh...for all we know she could have watched the film and said "what the hell was that garbage? are you freaking serious?" just like most of us did.

Let's not turn this into another "I hated X3" thread.

I didn't hate it, I loved it, but I just hate the director.

I have to go with Spidey and Doc Ock on Train. "With the classic either stop me or the Train Hero ploy." Then Spidey trying to stop the train that's way too powerful for him by exhausting all his webs. Classic comic book stuff there.

^ Plus the New Yorkers getting hold of him... and marveling (no pun intended) that this is the guy that just saved us... who is out there fighting the bad guys everyday... both surprised and awed that he was just a kid.

Man, that fight was hella awesome and is definitely one of the best. Spidey was just giving it to Ock & he kept coming back for more.

That was great. Timeless, even. But more psychological & emotional than the slam-bang effect of Hulk & Abomination. Like I said, I can't take anything away from any of these scenes. Many (if not all) are prime examples of the kind of action we hope to see when we look for our favorite comics to be adapted into movies.

With characters like Superman & the like, I expect to see more fights similar to the Hulk vs. Abomination fight where the hero has met his match & is having an all out brawl with the enemy.

Superman in particular, has failed to deliver anything of that caliber, IMO. Even with 3 foes whose power matched his, we really didn't get the awesome battle royale that could have been delivered. Instead, we got cheesy stunts like the plastic symbol trap, the hologram game & "Whoops-our powers are gone." Then there was Nuclear Man, who spent much of the movie threatening Supes with his girly press-on nails & forcing him to utilize powers that he doesn't have. Then, 20 years later, we see him get his @$$ whupped by the guy from "Harold & Kumar". What a waste.
