Best Movie Fight.

The end of "Sword of Doom" kicks the ass of all those options. (of the ones I've seen)

Bloody Wolverine, that was the most disappointing list of 25 anything that i've ever seen!

It was seriously pathetic.

I was left with NO REAL choice but Neo v. Mr. Smith...

Good job not mentioning anything from T2, but INSTEAD using the word Terminatrix??!?!

And Neo/Smith from the original Matrix isn't even listed??? Nor Fight Club, nor my personal favorite, Roddy Piper/Keith David.

it was wayyyy too short but the pyro/iceman fight had ALOT of potential!

...Indy Jones, Star Wars (originals), Die Hard, Aliens...how old is this kid?

Jean Claude Van Damme vs Micheal Jai White in Universal Soldier: The Return.

I love this fight. It should have been a little bit longer, but it's still a pretty good fight. Seen it many times. Hell, might even watch it again in a few minutes.

Mentionable fights.

Obi-Wan and Qui-Gun vs Darth Maul. (Eppy 1)
Scorpion vs Cage (Mortal Kombat)
Reptile vs Lui Kang (Mortal Kombat)
Connor vs that one big ass evil dude (Highlander)
Jean Claude Van Damme vs Dolph (Universal Soldier)

Uuuu, I have a favorite that should count (but i don't want it on this pansy list):

Van Damme in Hard Target...I mean, the whole movie's one big fight, but if I had to chose a part of it (and I'm Laughing now thinking about it), it's when Van Damme is riding the motorcycle....

He stands up on it (still driving it down the road) and begins firing his pistol with BOTH hands! Meanwhile, he shoots the SUV coming toward him and the motorcycle crashes into the SUV!!! And then he gets up and runs away:) My favorite!

But seriously, ''Road House'' has the best fights in cinema history!

Nightcrawler v. Secret Service

On there: Rocky v. Drago. ****ing classic.

The Best Fight Ever belongs to Nada and Frank in They Live

if not the best, one of the best in modern american cinema

that's what a real fight between two big, tough guys should look like

many of the posters here weren't even born before 1990

i'm not going to bring in any hong kong movie specialists into this, otherwise it would de-rail it...

from a western point of view in a western film performed by western actors, then definitely definitely definitely one of these two right here

in order

Johnny Cage vs Scorpion in Mortal Kombat
Hector vs Achilles.

the first one is probably the most balanced high octane fight. no one is winning for any considerable amount of time, the trading of blows is great, great atmosphere, fight scene, classic short lines, real brutally, gutsy well earned victory.

the second one is really all due to hector, a brother walking to his death that simply wouldn't give up against all odds, my heart truelly goes out to him, he was the real star in Troy in my eyes. A sacrifice in battle only an older brother could make and only an older brother can truelly understand the commitment and love for a sibling, in order to sacrifice his own family for him. that all comes out in bana's performance against an unstoppable force of nature. heart wrenching stuff.

i'll try and find both videos here for you to watch and examine yourselves

edit:

Here is the mortal kombat one, shrink screen for best viewing option

here is the troy fight

I really liked Scorpion vs. Johnny Cage it defintley was the best fight in that movie...I voted for Frank Castle versus the Russian because I thought it was a nice blend of rawness, brutality, and a tinge of comedic flavor.

That isnt an exuse. I have seen movies made 30 or 40 or 50 years before my birth.

you, and me, and other, but the general rule seems to be to not have any historical memory of anything older than five years

you know how many people were not aware there was an Omen movie, yet alone a complete trilogy before the one spewed by hollywood this year?

You are right. That is one of the reasons of so many remakes today. Young people nowadays only watch movies from 1990 to our days, and that is very sad.

alex and his gang vs, billy bob and his gang in clockwork orange, ballet style choreography blended on the beethoven background was pure genius

oh yeah, another great fight is the Dante/Randall at the end of Clerks, it's soooo stupid, it's great

the first kung fu fight in Team America

many other, but my toothache just won't leave me think

Do Understand i only had 25 poll slots to choose from. There sn' any way i could post every single good figh in the movies. Suppose i should have listed more then 25 and forget the poll but i had little success with the over 25 polls.

Ofcourse this is the case with me i always remember really good things i post after the fact. In this case i remember some good fights other then on the poll. My bad.

1 Inego Montoya v/s The Man In Black aka Westley.
2 T-800 V/S T-1000.
3 Hartigan v/s Yellow Bastard.
4 The Scorpion King v/s King Of The Rebels.
5 Spiderman v/s The Green Goblin.
6 Superman v/s Zod and The Other Two Villain Cryptonians.
7 Rocky v/s Clubber Lang.
8 Mad Martigan v/s The Skull General can't recall the name.
9 Aragorn v/s The Nazgul.
10 Wolverine v/s Mystique.

this really can't be considered a fight, more of a one sided knuckle shuffle

the latter is superior but both should probably be considered more as personal favourites rather than simply best.

:(
