Do Understand i only had 25 poll slots to choose from. There sn' any way i could post every single good figh in the movies. Suppose i should have listed more then 25 and forget the poll but i had little success with the over 25 polls.

Ofcourse this is the case with me i always remember really good things i post after the fact. In this case i remember some good fights other then on the poll. My bad.

1 Inego Montoya v/s The Man In Black aka Westley.
2 T-800 V/S T-1000.
3 Hartigan v/s Yellow Bastard.
4 The Scorpion King v/s King Of The Rebels.
5 Spiderman v/s The Green Goblin.
6 Superman v/s Zod and The Other Two Villain Cryptonians.
7 Rocky v/s Clubber Lang.
8 Mad Martigan v/s The Skull General can't recall the name.
9 Aragorn v/s The Nazgul.
10 Wolverine v/s Mystique.
truth be told, you probably shouldn't have put up a poll, or perhaps you should have created a tournament thread based on about 30 odd entries and see which one comes out top, that would have been a fairer way to go about it.

any other method would have led to you missing out on people's favourites.

Hector vs Achilles.

the second one is really all due to hector, a brother walking to his death that simply wouldn't give up against all odds, my heart truelly goes out to him, he was the real star in Troy in my eyes. A sacrifice in battle only an older brother could make and only an older brother can truelly understand the commitment and love for a sibling, in order to sacrifice his own family for him. that all comes out in bana's performance against an unstoppable force of nature. heart wrenching stuff.

here is the troy fight
 awesome fight

the problem i have with most hong kong weapon based fights or lightsabre battles is the fact that they last too damn long.

the angst and emotion is lost out to this long overdrawn basis of forever parrying away your opponents blade while he does the same to you. In some, people don't even get cut till right at the end, why watch a fight where it takes so long for a party to get hurt (whether it be the good guy or bad guy).

with the Obi-Wan/Maul fight, what i see is basically a baby crying swinging his light sabre about for all its worth, then getting absolutely nothing for his efforts while a sith lord plays with him. Then getting a completely underseved victory, how does one side with a hero who doesn't necessarily deserve his victory. it's not like maul was even cutting away at him or if he was badly damaged, simply lucky.

same goes for anakin and obi wan, although this time anakin is the baby and the baby gets royally owned for all his hard work and crying.

I would just imagine after coming out of a battle with a sith lord, you'd be pretty ****ed up and lucky to escape with your life but it doesn't seem to be the case.

meh, to me if people aren't getting their hits in regularly, then it doesn't count.

I guess the reason i like the troy fight is because it's a complete up hill struggle for a good cause, kinda how i would have like to have seen obi wan, a padawan come out in a battle against a sith lord maul (although maybe crawling away with a lucky win).

This is one of my favourite fights simply because there is no way he should have won and he crawled out of this one and he gave some hurt and it's not normal to see guys going hardcore on women.

Jackie vs four amazons

The bodyguard killing loadsa people in Zatoichi
A bittersweet life, when he beats the people down at the beginning
opening scene of blade
end scene of Versus

old boy, that one shot in the apartment hallway, he's just going at it, and it's shot brilliantly all in one take

You know what, I might have to go with the Man v. Skeletons Battle Royal from "Jason and the Argonauts"!

Easily a top 5 contender and brilliant in its own right!

None of the above?

Of the ones to choose from I'd say Hector vs. Achilles in Troy was an amazing fight as it was not showy but there was actually a mental battle of strategy going on and it was almost a game of chess bettween two fighters (albeit one being much greater). Not to mention it was tragic too though.
