I have been thinking about who was people's favorate actresses in apocalypse.for straight guy and lesbians some very attractive women in film

It was a toss up for me but I ended up going with Rose Byrne. I love her Moira and think she is the best thing to have come from FC

Sophie, easily. Then Jen.

All the others were either given nothing to do or put in the film just because.

Well I think Lawrence is the best actress of the lot (though we don't know enough about Shipp yet and Byrne is always great). However, she never is exactly at a 100% in these X-Men movies. And on top of that, Jean Grey was kind of perfect in this and other than a few spotty moments with the accent, Turner nailed it.

So if we are talking by character then, yeah, this poll says it all in the results.

Sophie Turner stood out to me.

But I also LOVED Olivia Munn, she acted the hell out of a limited role, with facial expressions that were perfect... the look on her face as she is slicing down the building to slow her fall, and her final look before disappearing... just PERFECT...

I actually loved all the new women in this movie so it's hard for me to choose. Every female except Jubes played a part and left an impression on me. Even without speaking Shipp was giving me face everlasting I loved it, girl was serving without saying a word looking fierce.

Olivia would probally win the sexiest woman in apocalypse. She has come long way from her days on i think it was attack of the show to turning out decent work on the newsroom to now making best out of limited role In Apocalypse.

Storm had too limited a role in the film for me to love it or say it stood out. Best part for her was standing with her head cocked to one side when Apoc and co turned up outside Cerebro. Her accent was good, if a little too heavy... I felt there was too much on the cutting room floor for her...

Sansa...I mean, Jean. I mean...Sophie Turner. (I'm going to get this right eventually, I promise).

Seriously, she was great.

Loved the kid who played Storm too, but I wished she had more to do.

It was very limited I agree but she really did great with what she had. Her face in the different scenes were speaking to me though.

Obviously Sophie, but there were no weak links.

Speaking as someone that was not sold on Sophie as Jean, count me as a new convert. I loved her Jean. Might be my favourite character in this movie. I'll be needing a second viewing, or third or fourth.

*eating crow* :)

Shipp. Turner and Munn needed accent coaches. Lawrence is overexposed and should instead lead in an X-Factor spin-off where she can hog the spotlight all she wants. Byrne is playing a supporting character with no superpowers.

Shipp not only wins by default but she actually seems far more like comics Storm than Halle Berry ever did and I can tell that Shipp truly loves the character and the role.

I liked that they brought back Moira, and referenced her son. It's always nice to have a few normal people in these movies who aren't hateful of mutants.

Munn and Shipp's enthusiasm for their roles definitely showed. They weren't given much to do, but just their body language and fierce look in their eyes showed that they were trying as best they could to make themselves memorable.

Contrasted with say Lawrence's performance where the character's fatigue and actor's fatigue became a little blurred. and Angel, who didn't really seem to know why he was even there after the cage fight.

I really hope Psylocke returns, that look on her face at the end gives me hope.

I really liked Alexandra Shipp with what she had. I could easily watch her hanging out with thieves in Cairo for a half hour. And I even could see a hint of the goddess side of her. Her role wasn't big, but she made me the most excited.

There's a deleted scene of Shipp/Storm on top of Mt Sinai where Xavier asks her what the **** (in so many words) she's doing with Apocalypse. LOL I wish they included that.

Did Xavier also talk to Psylocke?

I really like Shipp but Sophie Turner was the most likeable badass female here!! I never cared for Jean on that level but now I do!

  1. Sophie Turner
  2. Rose Byrne
  3. Alexandra Shipp
  4. Olivia Munn
  5. Jennifer Lawrence

Turner was the stand out to me, with Burne, Shipp, and Munn all giving good performances.

Lawrence is the weak link here because of how flat her performance was and how bored she looked throughout the entire movie.
