I see it as this pretty much;

Apocalypse, Wolverine 3, First Class 3 going into X-Men 5(DoFP was FC2 and X4), and then Age of Apocalypse.

IMO, when they make an Apocalypse sequel with young Scott/Jean/Ororo front & center, there won't be any going back to OT(excluding Wolverine). Kinberg recently hinted that following the younger "more traditional" team will come next. Stopping that progression to go and make a couple more OT films seems really really short sighted and comes off as backtracking from what DOFP accomplished.

year opened door for more with them.

Apocalypse by Kinberg's own words will be at core the conclusion of Xavier,Magneto,and
Mystique's origin story.
