Iron Man 2 Possible ARG/Viral Campaign

Who are we talking to? Jigsaw? :hehe:

I don't think a scavenger hunt would work too well with the viral.

No as a intern we would have to do "errands" for Tony Stark. Go pick "something" up for him and so on.

I don't think there would be puzzles and scavenger hunts like TDK's stuff.

This one would have more science involved too.

"Invent something, send the blueprints to [address here] or email them to [email here], the most unique invention with a 200 word essay on how it works and how it benefits mankind".

I just signed up, what's happened so far someone fill me in?

Just a confirmation email so far. You should be receiving it soon.

I applied for a position as Coffee Maker  Here goes nothing.

Got my reply from Kay Baker :woot:
Hey there!

Thank you so much for being one of the first people to apply for a job at Stark Industries. So far, the response has been incredible. You are among the best and brightest and your interest in joining our ranks is truly appreciated.

Already we have an overwhelming number of applicants and we plan to take our time thoroughly investigating each one. It may be a long process, but it is the only way to ensure that we find the absolute best candidates to work at Stark Industries.

We will contact you soon as we narrow down our selection.

All the best,
Kay Baker
Anyone else got it yet?

Edit- notice a lot of people have got it!

I just hope that we get rolling soon.

Do we even know what company is doing the viral marketing for this? We know it's not 42E.

Anyone know?

If it's not 42E then I doubt this will be any where near as good as TDK.

Honest sad facts.

Who knows. This could be a good viral. But right now I think 42E is doing the Tron movie.

Yeah they are. Only they would do something as good as what they did at SDCC.

Yeah, that was pretty cool what they did at SDCC with the scavenger hunt in San Diego and giving out the Joker masks.

I do kinda feel like we are giving this viral a little too much hype. I mean we do know that 42E is not doing it. And we all remember last year, and all the fun we had with a YEAR long of constant virals.

I kinda feel like if we hold this one up to the TDK viral, that it will fall short of our expectations.

I just dont want to have high hopes and then be let down.

Yeah, I see it as a 50/50.

We could be hyping it up and we could be slapped in the face.

Or.

We could be hyping it up and it turns out better than TDK (the [blackout]movie[/blackout])

I dont see why we cant keep our expectations high? I'm sure whoevers doing the viral marketing now looks at TDK and trys too live up to that, within theyre budget of course. And if theyre on these boards they'll see how much we talk about TDK and make an even better viral. The higher our demand the more they will supply.

That is true.

I just want this viral to be a year long of awesomeness.

It's a viral campaign. Just that fact gets me excited even though I'm still waiting on my e-mail response. :csad:

well the rest yall know , i got the mail 2

I want to be excited about this campaign. And I think I will be. But there is nothing like arriving at a pre-announced city location with friends to see a van of Joker thugs arrive to hand to hand out clues. it was surreal.
