Maybe Ivan IS secretly a Stark family member.
no way, Favreau has stated that Rourke's character's name is Ivan Vanko, and that he's the son of Anton Vanko, the original Crimson Dynamo

**yeah, this Batfan did his Iron Man research haha
I was thinking only of him being a Stark biologically speaking. Of course he was probably raised as a Vanko. I'm just throwing **** out there to see what sticks to the wall.
I don't think that's gonna be it at all and I really hope it isn't
Edit: Darn double post.
While I have this space, why couldn't Whiplash, or whoever ripped these articles out use a pair of scissors!!

Stark Situation Paralyzed

In a move which caused shockwaves in markets around the world, Tony Stark declared that Stark Industries will be getting out of the weapons business. The announcement came hours after the CEO was rescued from terrorists who had been holding him hostage in an undisclosed location in the Middle East.
Sources within Stark Industries have said that the proposed changes in the company's business structure would likely devastate the weapons giant. Stark is the country's largest defense contractor and supplies materials, services and technology to some 30 other nations.
Markets from Tokyo to London reeled from the news on Tuesday, with investors stampeding to dump Stark shares. Indexes fell 4% on average.
Stark Industries was founded during World War II by industrialist Howard Stark. When President Roosevelet declared that the United States would build fifty thousand planes to fight the armies of Hirohito and Hitler, Stark rose to the challenge and set about building an astounding one hundred [unclear text].

The title above the picture reads Walking on Air. The caption below the picture is J.M. Eddins Jr. / The Washington Times. Eddins Jr. is an actual Washington Times staff member.
...
I'm ready for the next clue, cause I'm already stumped on this one.
I'd bet that Eddins Jr. name is only in the paper to make it look more official. Same goes for "Getty Images" under the Stark image.
These clues need to be more obvious, or at least a little easier to spot, or at the very, very least, somebody needs to tell us how many "clues" there are.
Speaking of far fetched and following your train of thought.. What if we get a Captain America Cameo in Iron Man 2. I mean fully facial cameo. Granted he should be still in the ice and unconscious (if that is how you spell it) but that would be cool could be the last shot of the film or something. Don't know if by then we would know who is playing him. But if we don't it would be a real cool way of revealing him.in the first clue, i may be clasping at straws, but i couldn't help notice these few:In the DVD of Iron Man we see the Cap America shield in the background, and in Incredible Hulk we see the shield and body in an ice. So the "amazing captain" could have been found by Stark and his "Military Escort?" And brought back to his HQ - possibly the S.H.I.E.L.D HQ? Cause we know about the whole Avengers Initiative so could Cap be discovered in the film or something? Feel free to smack me upside my head if this seems far fetched but could it be hinting at the Inititative coming to life in the film to a certaine extent?![]()
Alright, what we have so far:
First Article:
Age (Page Buckner) [might be nothing]
Ancy (Nancy King) [might be nothing]
Secret (Highlighted)
U (Trauma) [misspelling]
N (Substantial) [misspelling]
T (Industries) [misspelling]
DE (Kidnapping) [misspelling]
I didn't include the I in military because I'm not convinced it's missing.
Second Article:
Stark (Highlighted)
rnie (Ernie Avila) [now I'm convinced it's nothing, and just them putting their names]
ames (James Rothwell) [now I'm convinced it's nothing, and just them putting their names]
S (Sources) [there's a marking before the S]
DE (Defense) [misspelling]
TRAC or RAC (Contractor) [misspelling]
Walking on Air [might coincide with all the attention being on Tony or could be nothing, as the set up is like an actual front page. The question is, why include that and the picture at all? Man's head in the picture is missing, but could be nothing. Picture is from U.S. National Arboretum.]
