I'll give you an idea. And anyone who reads this, please tell me what you think. I realize I'm setting myself up for ridicule, but it can be pulled off with the right script & director. If Punisher II does well, and part III is planned , I think a good way to end the trilogy and keep the interest strong would be a hybrid Marvel movie. Let me explain........Kingpin can be released from his prison sentence & ready to take back what Daredevil took away. It has been documented that the 2 (Punisher & Daredevil)have worked together or at least crossed paths before hunting the same criminal. They can both square off & then later on team up to take on Kingpin. This idea gives the Punisher a possible 3rd strong entry & also another chance for DD on film. What do you think?

Two different film companys... never going to happen.

Want some hot DD and Punisher action?

Read some Frank Miller Daredevil comics.

Punisher works best alone, on page or screen.

Well he does but, even the Punisher can use help at times. Same with DD. Can be a constant conflict in film where they both dislike each other but both also need each other to topple Kingpin.

Well, that means it can be done & I guess makes more sense for Fox to absorb Lion Gates stake in the Punisher, seems they might have more $ to do it then other way around.

Well that me be really cool trista
but more main characters they add, the less they are seen for some reason, like the horrrible Batman movies Burton did not do.

I'm not sure if any of you remember, but the writer of the Blade franchise , D. Goyer, wrote a screenplay that ended up being a TV movie in '98 for Nick Fury. Unfortunately it cast D. Hasselhoff as the lead & lost credibility for me but.....imagine Fury cast with Kurt Russell in the lead & a decent budget!

Anyway, I still believe my 1st post in this thread has best idea. Hate to see DD just go away and have Punisher end.

This is why Marvel decided to do their own movies. Now they can mix and match the characters. Unfortunitly, they have sold the rights to the big ones already.

So how long does Fox own the rights to DD & Lions Gate for Punisher?

This is another idea, often ridiculed and I'm sure has miles of legal tape to untangle to make work, but I like it.

Ugh, keep the Punisher's crappy ass away from the greatness that is Daredevil.
