Where Im at in life makes me think maybe widow as a mum? That would be interesting. Maybe they would alter things a bit and have yelena as her daughter?
I always like to go to the original source on quotes to get the full story. Here's what she immediately follows the line that screenrant stops with in the full interview:

"I think that there's definitely an opportunity to explore Widow as a woman who has come into her own and is making independent and active choices for herself, probably for once in her life. She hasn't always had that possibility. So, if it fit those criteria, then, yes, I do want to do it."

Whereas when she was younger she was tossed around a bit, now she, both professionally and personally, has more agency, takes more initiative, something that neither she, nor Natasha could do ten or even five years ago. Those are her criteria, so if someone comes to her with a story about a Widow who isn't independent, but has a baby, it won't fit her criteria, and she's not interested.
Black Widow does she deserve her own solo film? I say hell yeah but then who would be the villain or villains for her franchise?
There's lots of options
Yelena Belova - Black Widow II, could be a lot of fun, and fits the Marvel evil version of self first villain trope
Red Guardian - Ex Husband Super Soldier, could be a ton of fun emotionally and physically
The Whole
Winter Guard Honestly - A Russian Avengers for her to interact with that I'm sure will go south
Thunderbolts - She infiltrated them in the comics, she'd be great for introducing them in the MCU
AIM - Bring 'em back with Beekeeper suits and MODOK and you will win the world, again, another great thing for her to infiltrate
Serpent Society - Was the original plan for Cap 3, might as well give it to Widow.
Any evil MCU organization not tied to a specific Avenger honestly - You could do
ZODIAC, or The
Maggia or the
Femizons, you've got OPTIONS.
Taskmaster - Long overdue for the MCU, would make a great foe for Black Widow
Black Lotus - Totally D-lister, but she keeps coming up on Black Widow villain lists, so hey, put 'er in there.
Those are all the best ones, I think, no disrepsect to Lukin but -YAWN-. I suspect what we end up with will be combinations of things, just as Ego and Hela were combinations of villains or story specific pieces of things, just as Vulture and Zemo were only the things the story needed of them and not their full background/abilities from comics.
