I was leading towards Comic's Shockwave, who plans to dispose Megatron and become the Decepticon leader because that's what his computadorized mind interprets as "loghical".

And I'd have the Constructions rebuild (Maybe by Soundwave's minions?). I just want Devastator back ...

I didnt know that his comics counterpart was the exact opposite. To be honest i love Shockwave and his love towards Megatron. When he said that Cybertron will be as Megatron left it, he was talking literaly!

I am sick of the robots coming back from the dead. Its been played out too much and it removes all the depth and gravity of the deaths. As much i'd like to see devastator again, i would have to say no. Besides, its a trick we already saw and Bay will want to bring new tricks in the sequel. And a new decepticon army of course that will help sell more toys.

Megatron - He'll be back with a new Decepticon army. I'm just wondering if they're going to keep half of his face ripped off. If they choose to end the franchise with the third one, you can bet he'll die at the end....and won't be coming back.

The robots have the ability to heal or get repaired. So i would expect his face to be ok. And of course Megatron can never die.

Personally, I want to see Megatron finish leading the invasion of Depticons and actually begin attacking Earth's cities all across the world, with the militaries of the world scrambling to put up a stable defense. No running to one area like in TF: ROTF. Let the world actually know of the existence of the Autobots and Decepticons and force Optimus Prime to give weapons to humans for once!

Do you actually want the humans to have Star Wars technology? What will the autobots do then?

One idea I've had is that each Autobot is designated to protect one human who Sam loves, so, the Decepticons can't use them to force him into do their bidding like they tried to with his parents.

Chromia protects Mikaela.
Jolt protects Sam's parents.
Skids and Mudflaps protect Simmons.
Sideswipe protects Epps and his family.
Ironhide protects Lennox and his family.
Ratchet protects Leo.

Something like that.

I read your draft. Nice one.
Just to clarify the part of why they had the sun harvester when they had the cube. This is in the movie novel, in Jetfire's historical exposition (cut from the movie) Although the cube had the power to create life its energy came with a price. It needed to be "recharged" every now and then. That's why the harvester was created, to consume the energy of suns and energize the Allspark. In the novel Jetfire goes as far as saying the Allspark itself gave the Primes the Matrix to activate the device.

Since this is only in the novel and not in the movie itself, i don't know how cannon it is. I actually liked that explanation. The novel has much stuff that sheds some light to some parts that were left unexplained in the movie (like the Alice alt mode thing)
Anyway, i think its a nice take on that issue.
