The more I think about it, the more I find TWS to be the best MCU film so far. It really raised the bar.

I enjoyed them all to some extent, but the bolded are in another tier for me. I just love Thor 2, I'm so dissapointed it's not getting more love (too much Darcy/intern and the short run time were my only gripes, and the rest of the film more than makes up for it). Right now, The Dark World and The Avengers are the ones I re-watch the most. TWS will probably join those 2, but The Dark World and Avengers just do a great job of advancing and setting up the whole of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, not just the Earth-based stuff. Marvel is on a roll, I can't wait for Guardians of the Galaxy!

1. The Winter Soldier (Beefier plot with intrigue, worthwhile characters, and actual hard hitting action.)



Iron Man (Fresh at the time until Marvel Studios ran the formula into the ground.)
The First Avenger (Light throwback flick.)
The Avengers (Big dumb CGI-fest with transformers action and an incredibly lame villain.)
Iron Man 2 (Stale.)
The Incredible Hulk (Never thought The Hulk is movie material and this did nothing to change that.)
Thor (same as above.)
Thor 2 (such an incredibly lazy and insipid movie.)
Iron Man 3 (Kid sidekick, fire breathing baddies, kung fu super soldier Pepper Potts, MacGyver Stark with Christmas Ornaments, an ill-defined main villain, an Air Force One Skydive formation, a PTS crutch that was forgot about halfway through, etc. Not to mention, the ending completely disregards the entire plot of the second movie. Need I say more?)

Newbie here.

Been collecting comics since 1974.

I must be the only one who actually liked Iron Man 2 - I actually thought it was better than Iron Man 1.

I also like the Toby Maguire Spidermans more than the current ones.

BUT, I am very indifferent to the Xmen movies - very indifferent.

I also like the Ben Affleck Daredevil movie - thought this was pretty under rated and I think he'll do a great job as Batman.

I enjoyed IM2 a lot when it was first released in theaters, it has some great moments, I really like the Monaco scene and the Drone flight-chase at the end. The third one topped it though, and after I watched part 2 a few more times, it has fallen a notch or two.

Almost forgot! Agents of shield is gonna be crazy tomorrow! Also the netflix shows can't get here soon enough! Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist! Geeking out hard right now. Just saw Cap 2 for the second time and it just gets better!

I'm actually a big fan of Iron Man 3 so it actually competes with the first a little bit but I put the original over for it's impact and it's longevity.

Cap 2 may very well be the most techinically impressive film here to me, action, acting, writing the whole deal so it may jump number one at some point, but the pure child-like love I have for the Avengers gets it the number one spot.

The more time pasts the more I like IM3 honestly. It's like fine wine to me. When I first saw it last year I came out of it with a weird taste, and didn't know exactly how I felt about it. After watching it a couple more times I've really come to appreciate it and like it more and more. It's got a lot of layers to it. Definitely underrated imo.

I've had the opposite experience. I quite liked IM 3 the first time that I saw it. But the more times that I watch it, the less and less that I like it. The problems, plot-holes, jarring tonal shifts, unexplained stuff, etc becomes more and more noticeable. Also, I've gone from not being sure how I feel about the twist, to actively disliking it the more and more that I think about it. I just don't think that it's a very well-thought out movie plot-wise either.
