I'll do a top 5.

1. Civil War: the best, Marvel's Empire Strikes Back. It got me invested in a conflict between characters that I never previously cared for. It was funny, action packed and very emotional too - a really cathartic movie. Loved it.
I have to confess I'm a hard core DC fan, and TDK is my favorite cbm, and I put Civil War on a similar level. A truly satisfying film.

2. Dr Strange/Iron Man: The best Marvel origin movies (and among the best origin movies period), in many ways quite similar. Edge to Strange in visual effects, slight edge to Iron Man for its villain.
Superb performances by both leads - really keen to see a thread comparing RDJ and Cumberbatch for best first portrayal of a Marvel superhero.


3. Guardians of the Galaxy: Real magic, a Space Opera we haven't seen the like of since 1977. In fact it felt more like Star Wars than JJ Abrams' recent film. Loved the humour and sense of wonder it brought.


4. The Winter Soldier: Who knew that superhero and suspense film genres could be so successfully blended. Didn't really like the ending so much and thought that Shield really being Hydra (or half Hydra) was a bit ridiculous - but the overall film is great and Evans really comes into his own as Cap.
The freighter rescue was amazing, and of course it had GSP !


5. Avengers: Age of Ultron. Okay, it has some stupid story points (mostly that Tony is such a genius, and also a dumbass that while trying to create a programme to save the world, he creates one that tries to destroy it). Also, somehow Spader manages to underwhelm as Ultron, he's got some great lines and delivers them well, but the character's story isn't done well enough and....given it's Spader, they should have let him even more off the hook.

However, it balances that with amazing action sequences ( particularly the Hulkbuster sequence ) and actual character development (of which the first Avengers film has pretty much zero). Hell, it makes us give a **** about Hawkeye. I think the critics really underrated this one.


Honourable mention to the Thor films ( really liked Thor, but found it a bit slow) Thor TDW was a bit more spectacular and felt suitably cosmic (and the Dark Elves tech looked cool), but Eccleston was kind of lame as Malekith (who's a great Thor villain), enjoyed Kurse though.

These films represent, IMO the best of Marvel. Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 I felt were awful, Captain America TFA and Incredible Hulk were mediocre, and Ant Man, while fun, was kind of forgettable. But that's just me.

With there now being 14 MCU films, making an accurate ordered list has become so difficult. I mean, the difference in quality for me on many is so close on so many, it just is hard to do at this point.
