Is that it's almost...operatic in the way it's presented. To me, that's more Batman than anything, because that is what Batman is, in a nutshell: a realistic opera mixed in with film noir and psycho-drama.

I like Turner's work. To be honest, I thought his version of Batman/Superman looked better than McGuinness' version.
Not to diss McGuinness, I just liked Turner better, IMO
I just love how Turner gives all of his men the same bodies, heads, and faces, and ditto for his women. It's the Jim Lee/Image syndrome, except Turner pales in comparison to Lee.
Turner isn't all that great though.....
