Well, I understand some gripes. At times, Turner's characters can have a elongated look.....and his style seems like a mix between magna and american....his influences appear so atleast. But, I love his art. He draws some sexy women....

And one reason I like him, espically on his S/B covers, like this one:

Is that it's almost...operatic in the way it's presented. To me, that's more Batman than anything, because that is what Batman is, in a nutshell: a realistic opera mixed in with film noir and psycho-drama.

See, now this rocks. I'm just not that big of a fan of his other stuff. It's not that I outright hate his art, I just like other versions of Batman better than his.

I like Turner's work. To be honest, I thought his version of Batman/Superman looked better than McGuinness' version.

Not to diss McGuinness, I just liked Turner better, IMO

McGuiness is the artist that draws the male's chins real big and stuff right? I forget exactly which ones he did in the series.

I just love how Turner gives all of his men the same bodies, heads, and faces, and ditto for his women. It's the Jim Lee/Image syndrome, except Turner pales in comparison to Lee.

I like this one.

He has great cover composition, but I'm not a big fan of his interiors. I also stonrgly dislike the poor line-quality of his art.

Yeah, he does do good covers. But your right, all of his lines look like really wispy pencil lines.

Poor line-quality of his art?

I don't see his art being a mix of american style and manga art.

I'd say look at the eyes. The eyes have a feel of Magna almost. I'm not saying it's a wannabe Magna attempt by an American or anything....just that it looks like he might be a little influenced by it.

I agree.

I dunno.....I think you could practically say that about ANY artist.

Turner isn't all that great though.....

Still young.....he can be.....

Yes, that is what I said. I think it's self-explanatory.

Not exactly......do you mean he needs to draw thicker lines? Heavier shadows? Heavier inking? Just go a little into a bit is all I think he wanted.

"testicles?"

This is ****in' funny as hell when looking at you sn.
