a friend of mine knew someone at apple and was able to get some sweet computer and scanner stuff at a really good discount. like a laptop that was normally 2100.00 retail was just 1500.00.

A classmate of mine had a booth there. Tried to get me a poster, but they were already out before he got there.

Saw that advert at a local comic shop. No one I was with liked the art, including myself. Poster might have been better, but for what we saw it was not good.

Hey guys...
wanted to give you an update on this poster that i mentioned here in this thread. just received it today in the mail from moviegoods.com

it was under my impression that this was going to be a legit movie poster...however its obvious that it isnt.
the poster image looks dull and not sharp. it doesnt even have a glossy finish to it like all current movie posters have. IMO i think they copied the image from the mini 11" X 17" poster (that MSJ and crew were handing out at the shows for free) and just blew up the image.
paid 30 bucks from moviegoods.com ....wanted to let people who decide to buy it to know that they wont be getting an official poster (and an inferior one at that!).
maybe this kind of copying is allowed by some film companies? have no idea...i wrote MSJ about it so maybe he can shed some light on this.
if anyone knows something about this drop me a line...

I always found that site a little fishy cause they sold framed screencaps from trailers as well.Which i also doubt the studios make any money from as well.

I always found that site a little fishy cause they sold framed screencaps from trailers as well.Which i also doubt the studios make any money from as well.

yeah...I'm definitely not going to keep it. was thinking of sending it back to Moviegoods to get a refund however my nephews will really like it...even though its a "boot". want to hold on to it for a bit though until i know for sure what to do. Sony might want to take a closer look
