As i was reading the new volume of ghost rider, i was wondering about his powers more specificly when he changes, does johnny have control over the change or is it like the movie i.e. at night when hes near evil

In the new Ghost Rider volumes, Johnny Blaze and the Spirit of Vengeance are on the same mission. Night or Evil no longer controls whether the Spirit of Vengeance arises.

Sometimes Johnny Blaze's persona comes out of the Spirit of Vengeance, and vice versa. Since both of them are after the Avatars of Lucifer, whenever they sense its presence, they react in unison.

Its really nothing like the movie.
