Predict the Worst Films of 2014

Slumcat hates any movie that isn't a pure "film." And Nolan. :o

January ain't too bad for us folks in the UK.

American Hustle
Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom
12 Years a Slave
The Railway Man
The Wolf of Wall Street
August: Osage County
Inside Llewyn Davis
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit
Lone Survivor

Some of those are released late to you guys anyways. 'Murica!! :o

Jack Ryan's the only movie that actually premieres in January. :funny:

Lol at people getting their panties in a twist over a single word post. I sometimes wonder, what is easier to play - the piano or Nolan fans. :funny:

I guess though such posts get me the deep-rooted unending hatred of fans which I know can be as powerful as their devotion for Nolan. But what does it matter, a good joke is too precious to pass up on. :woot:

I don't know. It just seems like he doesn't like any blockbuster material or anything.

Things like foreign movies and arthouse stuff is what he likes.

:o
Oh no! I like plenty of blockbusters. There are some grandly entertaining well made blockbusters every year and I like them just like everyone else.

Yet he's excited about that Kellen Lutz Hercules movie.

He seems like a cool guy, but his taste in movies makes me scratch my head at times.

I hope ASM 2 is good. I liked the first one. It's just that the Raimi Spider-Man movie is a lot better, and that's probably why ASM gets ripped to shreds a lot. Or maybe it's not even that; maybe it's just that people didn't think we needed to see the origin again. But judging the movie on its own, I think it's good enough.

Nah it was just hilariously predictable.

What about "surprise disappointments"?

I was certainly surprisingly disappointed by The Amazing Spider-Man and Man of Steel. I've begun to enter these movies with very, very low expectations these days.
