The Dark Knight Predictions on how TDK will end

Joker and Batman kiss and make up, then skip off into the sunset hand in hand.

I think Batman will have a final confrontation with the Joker only to be saved/thwarted by Two Face, who will disappear into the night taking the Joker hostage for some reason (revenge or whatever)...Then in the third movie, Batman will be forced to bring Harvey to justice, with the Joker's fate/whereabouts unknown to everyone, even Two Face...hopefully, there will be some nod to the Joker in the third one, like Batman discovering a Joker card or something, hinting that he is still alive and out there.

the bar scene couldnt work cause in the 3rd trailer you see dent as 2face already in a car holding a gun... so they are gonna have to reveal him earlier than the very end

The Joker says... "Bruce f---in' Wayne.. Why can't I quit you?"

And Ang Lee makes another movie as boring as possible..

wasn't there a thread on this already? I remember cracking the "with credits" joke and getting a lot of snide remarks.

Really.. I predict it ends with Rachel accidentally stumbling into the wrong bedroom, where Stacy Keibler has coincidentally lined the bed with rose petals and whipped cream.. And Rachel's like "oops.. wrong bedroom.... buuuuut... since you set everything up.."

The rest of the movie will play out as you imagine it would.. Kinda sucks Batman and Joker aren't even in the last 45 minutes..

But watching these two for 3/4 an hour is a fair trade off..

I havent seen a thread on this topic, so I just wanted to bring it up.

How do you guys think The Dark Knight will end? Simple as that. My prediction is: Joker will scar two-face (dont know the reason), then two-face kills joker out of revenge. The only reason why I want joker to die is because I dont want another actor replacing him in the third movie. I know, I know, everyone is gonna say, "But Joker is too big of a character to kill off!" :whatever: But come on people, I mean do you really want some other actor stepping in heath's clown shoes? I just feel that joker is too big of a character to be replaced by someone else

So the movie version of the character dies with Heath Ledger?

I dont think so.

I hope Nolan is not doing the same mistake Burton already did.
If Joker survives this doesn't mean he has to come back in the third movie.
Catwoman did not appear in "Batman Forever", did she?!

And: To let Joker die because Heath did would be very, very tasteless.

If they have the Joker die it wouldn't be because of Heath's death. They would have already filmed him dying.

I was referring to guys like Conebone69 who said "Kill the Joker off" after Heath's dead because they don't want a new actor for Joker in the third movie.

meh, have the joker still be on the loose and either bring him back for the 3rd film, or don't... it's pretty simple.

If the Joker dies, I want his last line to be "That wasn't funny!".

Joker dying would spoil the whole movie for me. So I HOPE this not the way TDK ends.
On the other hand I have no idea how it will end. But who cares? We'll see in July (or in August here in Germany).

Yeah. But I'm living less than five miles away from the Dutch border.
So I will see TDK in July and in the original version. A not dubbed and uncut version.
That's great because in trailer#2 Joker's german voice really sucks and in Germany they even cut scenes out off Iron Man. :whatever:

Ending:

The Joker is put into Arcane Asylum, Two Face is off on his own ready to build up his criminal empire. Batman is wondering what the hell happened in this movie.

Beginning of 3rd movie:

Joker seduces Quinn in Arcane, and both escape together to become a duo threat to batman. Two Face on the other side has his crime ring; getting rid of all other crime bosses and going after batman for interfering.

Maybe another villain in it as well. If the riddler, make him as Clockwork Orange as possible; and never joining up to work with the Joker (but staying solo himself).

:hoboj:-Ahahahaha!

Wow :oldrazz: Yeah I saw Iron Man's japanese(or korean. Or chinese. Or something like that) version with the subtitles and it looks like they actualy cut out a few scenes o.O

The problem is that in Germany people think comic books and cartoons are just for kids. Batman, Iron Man, The Simpsons, South Park - everything that's drawn is for just for little children.
They cut some scenes out of Iron Man so that they could show this movie to the ten year old.
On the other hand, they have no problem with sex and nudity here. :woot:
But we're getting OT...

The way i think it ends is this:

"Batman comes home after a long day of work to find a nice house...candlelight dinner. and James Gordon asleep at the dinner table in a nice evening gown. Batman feels terrible and James wakes up:

James - "Where were you! You think b/c you were out all night playing with your little Joker friend that some of us don't worry and try to do something nice for you. But you don't care do you"

Batman - "im so sorry dumplin, i didn't mean to stay out so late. This looks...really great. I never said thank you....."

James - "And you never would you cheating SOB!" *runs off crying into the rain* Cue "everybody hurts" by REM.

the end?

I don't get this Arcane Asylum.

Another naive, poor attempt at screen writing by a fanboy follows. Not a good ending, but I had fun writing it.

Batman and Joker face each other through a clear plexiglas wall [think Long Halloween] in Arkham . . .

Joker (angry, spitting): You’ll never win! The anarchy . . . the chaos! Gotham will still burn!

Batman (the slightest of smiles creasing his face): Joker, why so serious?

Joker (smashing into the Plexiglas, beating on it with his fist): I”LL KILL YOU! I”LL KILL YOU! I’LL KILL YOU ALL!!

Batman turns and walks away, down the long corridor, the Joker screaming . . . .

Dr. Quinlan: Batman!

Dr. Quinlan appears, grabbing Batman’s arm.

Dr. Quinlan: What did you do? What did you say to him?

Batman: Nothing he hasn’t said before.

Dr. Quinlan: You’re no better than he is. You should be in Arkham, too.

Batman: And do you think you could help me, Doctor? Do you think you can help him?

Dr. Quinlan: I’m going to try!

Batman: And I’ll be waiting.

FADE

Gordon stands by the new Batsignal, the light blazing. He is looking out toward the city. Suddenly a voice behind him . . .

Batman: Any word on Dent?

Gordon, slightly startled, turns to face Batman who crouched on the edge of the roof.

Gordon (slightly irritated): No, nothing. I hope we don’t find him. I hope he’s at peace.

Batman observes Gordon, no emotion showing. Then, indicating the Batsignal . . .

Batman: New?

Gordon (looking down, somewhat apprehensive): Look, I’m sorry. I thought that . . . .

Batman: You have nothing to explain. I would have done the same.

Gordon: There are going to be more of them. More Jokers. We’ll never get rid of them. But we need to fight them. We need your help.

Batman: I’m not going anywhere. Not yet.

Batman stands and steps off the roof, disappearing into the night.

Gordon smiles, turns and walks away

Daytime, Wayne Manor. Construction equipment and workers are working on the new mansion. Bruce arrives and Alfred opens his car door.

Bruce: Alfred.

Alfred: Master Wayne. [Alfred gazes across the new Wayne Manor]. Almost finished, sir.

Bruce: It will be good to be home, Alfred. I wish Rachel could have seen it.

Alfred: Master Bruce . . . Perhaps she knows, sir. They all know.

Bruce looks up at the mansion.

Bruce: How about the modifications to the southeast foundation?

Alfred: Splendid, Sir! You’ll nevah know the place once you see it.

Bruce: Good.

Alfred: By the way, sir, this envelope arrived for you. [Alfred hands Bruce an envelope] It arrived this morning, special delivery.

Bruce opens the envelope and takes out a paper. Both men read the paper. The paper reads:

HOW DID THE BAT LEARN TO FLY?

Alfred: But what does it mean?

Bruce: It means they endure, Alfred. But so do I . . . so do I.

BLACKOUT
