Premiere

I doubt that the story will go national and it's it's the provincial version of CBC that's taping the interview...

Wow Flame...you're doing great with all of this...

Appreciate the effort in typing that article up, Flame. That's brilliant. You must be beyond thrilled right now. It's great hype for the movie too.

:woot:

FH, I HATE YOU!!!
:cmad:
Just kidding, man!
Represent us all, dude!

Unfortunatly, the article didn't show up online but, I figured I'd type it out for you seeing as I don't have a scanner. So, along with a large picture on the front page, there is this article. Am I allowed to do this?

Screw it. Go visit there website in return for reading or something... yeah, that's the ticket. Anyway.

I thought it was a great article. Didn't expect front page and it to be so long though. Crazy.
LOL FH front page news....who would of thought? and it's GOOD front page news too.lol

Awww, thanks for the insight on your homestead,FH, and that article was :csad: :yay:
It just makes me even more stoked for you guys. :hyper:

Oh, I am. More than you can imagine. What a crazy day I had man. It's like I'm a local celebrity. I got recognized all day and all my coworkers swarmed me when I went in tonight, on account that most didn't know. I was waiting to tell people until I was absolutly sure that I could go; passport issues and all. Regardless, it's madness here.

I guess this is my 15 minutes... or something like that. I'll let you know how the TV interview goes tomorrow and I'll see if I can either get a copy or record it when it's on tomorrow night (if that's when they plan on airing). As far as I can tell, they're gonna try and get a copy of the trailer or something to go along with the piece. Great promotion. This channel is a highly watched Newfoundland station. A lot of people in this province has only this channel (and another completely local station). Not only that, it's available cross Canada via satellite, as far as I know.

Pretty awesome, none the less. It's a crazy buildup to the big day, let me tell you.

Awesome. I just checked out the Telegrams website (http://www.thetelegram.com) and they had a scan of the front page for today....

FH that front page is awesome, so is the TV stuff, again enjoy.

Hey FH what are you holding in that pic? Kinda hard to tell.

Very cool Flamehead! Have fun at the premiere and get yourself a groupie!

Holy **** Orb! It's in the Canadian Newswire now, so it seems. I guess it can be picked up by any paper. Thanks for heads up Orb.

My interview with CBC is in about an hour, so I should get ready I guess eh?

Just got home from watching GR in Melbourne with about 70 people including some film critics, it'll be interesting to see what the have to say in the morning papers.
You can only fit so much in two hours. Where do I start
Let me say that the transformation from JB to GR has to be seen to be believed(awsome). Watch the shadow in the tent when Mephisto enters the tent (see the real Mephisto just a glimpse).
The scene where JB is arrested & thrown in the lockup & his transformation while the detainees are fighting him is Great.
Watching the life getting drained out of people is awesome & to see Abigor get his on the rooftop after saying you cant catch the wind,GR then uses the chain to whip up a frenzy is great.
To watch Wallow expode in the water after he dismounts JB from his bike, then JB transforms into GR underwater & literally explodes Wallow ,Fantastic.
GR tries to use the Penance stare on Blackheart, but Blackheart tells GR that he doesn't have a soul, but once Johhny gets the scroll from Carter Slade & they both transform into Ghostriders &ride to San Venganza to free Roxanne from Blackheart GR reverts to JB because the sun is coming up & he must get Blackheart into the shadows, JB is the thrown into the mission doors he crashes to the floor Roxanne shoots Blackheart,JB tells Roxanne to throw him the gun,she tells him its out of bullets but tosses him the gun the tranforms into GR's gun which shoots Hellfire GR gives Blackheart the scroll @ San Venganza & all the souls enter his body GR uses the Penance stare & Blackheart is disposed of, then Mephisto enters & tells JB that he can now have his life back, JB says that he will keep GR.
Well in short thats what happens, some of the scenes may be a bit ut of order,my mind is still trying to comprehend all the info together so that I can write all this for you guys. But in short go & see it. Yes JB kisses Roxanne, then in another scene Roxanne kisses JB, Roxanne has a great pair of assets.
I don't know if the critics will like the film but then thats why they are critics and if films were made for the critics we probably wouldnt like them.
MSJ has stayed true to the GR comics & thats what I was looking for. Entertaining & some lighthearted moments . Great effects my hat goes off to for the effects people, Oscar nominations I think.

Canuck fan to walk red carpet at Ghost Rider

Feb 14, 2007 04:30 AM
ST. JOHN'S, N.L.–Stephen Harris is having trouble deciding what to wear Thursday. He's not going to work, nor is he taking his girlfriend out.

He'll walk the red carpet in New York with Nicolas Cage, Eva Mendes and Peter Fonda at the premiere of Ghost Rider.

"I'm not sure what to wear and I'm really nervous about that. I have no idea," Harris said.

"It's a biker movie, so there's probably going to be a bunch of people wearing leather ... I've been dreaming about walking a red carpet for 20 years."

To say that the St. John's actor, who ran for the Green party in last year's federal election, is a fan of the Ghost Rider character would be an understatement.

Harris has about 800 Ghost Rider comics. And he's posted some 15,000 messages on

superherohype.com, which he now moderates.

A new member joined the site, contributing as "MSJ" before revealing he was Mark Steven Johnson, writer and director of the Ghost Rider film.

Johnson and Harris have become online friends and last month Harris got an email from Johnson, asking what he was doing Feb. 15.

The studio is flying Harris and two other original members of the Ghost Rider chatroom to New York. After attending the movie premiere, they will get to meet the stars at an after-party.

Harris said he's actually more excited about meeting Johnson than Cage, who plays the main character in the film, or the other actors.
