I'm pretty excited about going the the US actually. I never thought I'd actually go there, or better worded, be able to go there. Of course, I've always dreamed of being in a place where opportunity is, at least, evident. It's gonna be crazy to feel that lifestyle, if only for a day. I come from Newfoundland, guys. The entire province has less than 600,000 people. It's an island at the most eastern (and very northern) point of North America. It's cold and it's really small.

Don't get me wrong though; it's the best freakin' place on earth. It's beautiful, clean and pretty much untouched. Many people travel here for just that... and well, because we're the home of the nicest people on earth. It's true. Come on over and see for yourself...

Anyhoo, what the hell were we talking about? Oh yeah... it'll be positive.

Okay, so I can finally be as excited as you all expect me to be. Let me tell you about the past couple of days that I just had, if you have the time to listen.

MSJ PM's me a couple of days ago and gives me the incredible news. Of course, I **** myself for a while and quickly realize that I'm going to the US... which means I may need a passport. I mean, I've never been out of Canada before and never really thought I would be anytime soon. So, I start to panic thinking that getting such things would take forever and I would miss this incredible opportunity.

But wait, it gets worse. As soon as I remembered the passport, I went to the Passports Canada website and what do I see right away; an alert stating that a new requirement (from the States) has been passed saying that all Canadian Citizens must carry a passport when going to the US. Funny thing is, the new law was instated THAT DAY. The very same day that MSJ told me about the trip. My luck wha? Then they're saying (on the website) that there is a backlog of applications due to the overwhelming demand for them, with this new law. Of course, at this point, I'm really freakin' out.

Anyhoo, I kinda pushed it out of my mind and gathered everything that I needed for the application and had planned on being back to the offices yesterday... BUT (again, my luck) we had a massive snow storm which shut down the city. Nothing was open....

So, I'm about to cry at this point, thinking that a one day difference could very well be the difference in me having the passport on time and not having it. I barely slept last night in anticipation of today and when I got up this morning, I got ready, went down to the offices and proceeded to submit my application. To my surprise, the new law really didn't do much here and the backlog isn't as bad as the media was making out to be (not in Newfoundland anyway). Within an hour, I had the thing submitted and a guarantee that I'll have it proceeded in due time; well before the 15th!

So, I can finally be excited! Now, if you'll excuse me for a second, I have to go change my pants again....

Man, I wish i was FH, BG, or MM...oh well, I'm really happy for them. They deserve it a LOT more than I do, that's for sure. I've only been here since December 2005...and they've been here MUCH longer, doing what they are best at...being a fan!

That'd be soooooo awesome! It'd be a dream come true! I just really want to meet MSJ! He's such a cool and generous guy, and he is all about the movies and fans! (great quality BTW) I PMed him about this whole 'Preacher' idea, but he hasn't responded yet. I know he's busy still probably, but I figured that with GR completely finished that he would have a LOT of more free time to chat with us here...oh well, it he gets to it when he gets to it.

What should the title of GR2 be? I'm not a big fan of just throwing # after the title at all. I guess it depends on the villain. It'd be cool to see GR & Hellboy in a film together but we all know that isn't happening. Wait didn't Sony pick up Hellboy 2? Hmmmm.

I'm guessing for GR2 they would call it something simple like Ghost Rider 2 or maybe something like Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. That would be cool, especially if Vengeance made an appearance then.

Edit, I was just thinking...Ghost Rider and Vengeance is a great title for GR2 if Vengeance is involved...hopefully he is! Or maybe he'll be GR3's villain! Scarecrow would be cool to see in GR 2. I just can't think of a great title for him though...

hope everything works out FH...but dont worry it could be worse! i got into a car wreck yesterday and the bill comes out to 1500.00 bucks! thankfully my insurance will "supposedly" cover it....but we will see.
in a addition my pc which i use exclusively to capture and encode movies dies on me a few days ago. switched out the HD and it still doesnt work! wont even see the HD now. more than likely its the motherboard
man i get some AWESOME news the other day but get 2 sucky bad events in exchange...but dammit its worth it.

yeah...but fortunately no one was hurt...just our cars. the other dude had it worse the passenger front tire was knocked in while mine at least i can still drive. have some damage to the front bumber, hood, left headlight and signal light. alot of it is gonna have to be replaced.
the guy tried to cross the street to an apartment complex and either didnt see me coming or thought he could make it. tried to brake as fast as possible but the road was too slick to stop in time. its just a real sucky development and i havent had an accident since i was in college.

thats true too...im actually surprised i havent had MORE accidents living here. very lucky...
owning a car is overrated...but only when you are in an accident
car is pretty tough though...Ghost Rider tough! heh

and Midnyte..FH has a backup plan for NY. if the passport falls through he is planning to get a large box and ship himself to NY overnight. just dont forget the airholes dude! t:
