President Secrets

If you were to become President of the US, and your staff told you secrets about the government that the american public didn't know anything about, would you tell these secrets to the public?

I mean, you're the president, what is the staff gonna do.

That's why the people in charge don't tell the president certain secrets.
The President doesn't have the highest security clearance in this country.
It depends on their previously existing connections.
Like, Nixon knew about aliens and told some friends about them. But Clinton was not shown anything.
