Prison Break Season 4 Discussion

House? Really? They should've have kept that on Tuesday.

Yeah I agree how it will be sad to see the show leave. I really enjoyed this show, I remember reading about the show about a year before it aired, and I was hooked from that point on.

It's just one of those shows (like lost) that has to end sooner rather than later.

It's disappointing that the show is done. At times (mainly the first and second seasons) it was one of the most addictive adrenaline rushes on television, and a perfect compliment for 24. The last two seasons have just pushed the level beyond ridiculous, unfortunately. It even had the most ridiculously bad character resurrection of the season (way more so then THAT one). Therefore, it is probably a good time to end it now.

Here's hoping to good final resolutions for Michael, Sara, Lincoln, and Mahone. I'm not sure exactly what kind of ending I would want for T-Bag yet, though. Plus, they really need to bring Sucre back just to end his character in a more satisfying way then "Peace, I'm out."

More than likely the end shot will a slow pull out of Sucre going to the Dive shop that the brothers own, and crack open some beers as it fades to black panning over the ocean :)

cool stuff from this season are whistler getting killed...kinda shocking
t bag eating someone...
mahone....mahone...mahone
bellick giving his life...
self screwing michael over but michael switching it on him by taking out a chip

bad things
tattoo removal overnight(he couldnt take the pain and his skin would look like a sticky red sucker)
gretchen not being killed but being held and tortured...(really stupid)
gretchen escaping...
gretchen and t bag teaming up...
gretchen not dying...(she deserves it...shes annoying)
t bag wanting to be a better man and finds redemption by not killing the "bible salesman"...(what the?)
sarah wayne callies acting
sara being an idiot throughout the whole thing and answering a pay phone after someone was killed last time she attempted to do it...
sara being conveniently on time to save michael from the company after trying to be converted into one of them...
michaels cancer and then it being removed by non other than the company...
theres more...but i feel like im ranting now....
if anyone feels like adding on or cutting out...go ahead

I'm looking forward to the last episodes.

@ Caleb: I don't like Sarah Wayne Callies at all either and her acting is just terrible. I can't say I like the character either, she should've been the one whos' head was in that box in S3. Along with the things I was like "WTF" also goes the company giving Michael the surgery, but overall I'm pleased with the show, I loved it. However, I'm glad it ends here, with Season 4 (hopefully). There's no need to go shooting more and more until it starts to really suck (like the brainless fanboys want).

Im glad its ending, i love the show and running into the ground is just daft, you Americans should learn that less is more
AGREED!;)

I see this is on Fridays now?

Fridays.... the day where fox Tv shows goto die. Much like an Elephant grave yard

I'm just glad they are showing the last 5 episodes.

when do the last episodes start airing?

its been for freaking ever since the previous episode! i dont remember half of what was happening!

Not much to know. Sarah broke Michael out of a cabin where the General was going to have him lobotomized, and they had decided to get Sycilla back for Michael and Linc's mother. Meanwhile, Linc had accepted a permenant position working for the General who convinced him that he's not evil. Linc's team consists of Mahone, T-Bag, and Self.

Gretchen had been shot and agreed to go to prison for murder in exchange for Linc and the General sparing her life and letting her daughter visit her.

Sucre had decided it was no longer his fight and left the group (seemingly for good this time, but I must admit, I will be very disappointed if that's the last we see of Sucre. His character needs more closure.

And that is just about everyone, me thinks.

The one I bolded has to be one of the worst scenes I've ever seen. Very predictable & highly unlikey. I agree with most of your stuff except I loved Gretchen & watching Gretchen with T-bag was one of the few highlights for me, except when he got nice & didn't kill the bible salesman. :csad:

This season was so bad. What a shame for a show to fall so badly.

I'll add to your list

- Their mom's illness being changed. Major plothole
- Their mom is alive. yeah right. :whatever:
- Michael having nosebleeds. How pathetic.
- Sara's boring speeches.
- Sara's horrible acting being forced upon us by contrived soap opera bs.
- Bellick being suddenly nice & taking one for the team w/o much character develpment before that. How much dialogue was he given before that ep?
- Sara at the bar, whining. Basically all things Sara. Why did they bring her back? What was the purpose of head in the box ?
- Sucre up and leaving.
- Where did Sofia go? she was hot. Can't act, but eye candy. :cwink:

i LOVE gretchen! i thinks shes one of the best parts about the show. her escaping from getting tortured was the coolest thing ever!

What bothers me isn't the retcon of Mama Scofield's illness or bringing her back to life but more the timeline of her original "death."

Linc said earlier in the season that Michael's mother died at age 31, but didn't Linc claim to use her life insurance to put Michael through college (I know it was a lie, but I doubt Michael would've fell for it without asking questions 10 years after her death)? Assuming Michael went to college at 18, that means she had Michael at 13 and Linc at 8. The age of this woman just doesn't fit.

Unless Linc saved the insurance money so he could put Michael through college when he grew up.

It still means that assuming Michael went to college at 18, and wasn't a boy genius who went through college Doogie Howser style (and based on his back story of being bounced around foster homes, that seems unlikely), she had Linc at 8 and Michael at 13.

I mean, when she died they were kids, then a few years later when Michael went to college, Linc used the insurance money (if it was 10 years later, she would have been 41 when Michael went to college).

And I thought Linc the older brother?

I'll watch this show til the very end, but my hopes for any solid conclusion is pretty much shot at this point.

Yeah was alright i suppose, nothing major happened in it that we don't already know!

Linc is older. He was 4 when mom was pregnant with Michael & their father left. Linc is supposed to be 13 when mom died. In this past episode mom said 23 years since she saw Linc, so mom should be 36 when she fake died in the hospital with Linc watching on. :whatever:

So 31 doesn't work.

My guess is the reasoning for the late bogus insurance policy is because they were minors so maybe the lie was that the insurance policy was given to Linc as an adult.

Earlier they did a decent job of timeline with unbeliveable stuff thrown in to move the plot. Season 4 they just stopped caring. I don't mind the "unbelivability factor" in action flicks but they really stretched in too much.

How does Maricruz deliver a baby so fast? Add that to the mom story and all it's plotholes and I have to wonder if they just wanted to end the series and move on to other things.

That was a great scene. :woot:

She is one hot sexy cazy chick

Did anyone watch the new episode?
I watched it but fast forwarded half of it. I never did that until season 4. T-Bag is my favorite so I watched him. I also like Linc/Mahone and I watched the General & evil mom stuff. Not much really happened but the hit on the General was interesting. Glad he lived.

What happened to this show? I used to be addicted to it. :csad:

lol I was waiting for somebody to bump up this thread, I thought the latest episode was ''meh''.

It was. There were so many good episodes leading up to the fall finale that could've served as a cliff hanger. They should've ended it with one of those, then had the episode where they revealing Michael's mother to be alive serve as the spring premiere, then there would be some shock factor.
