With a new production designer and the the knowledge that the movie will be 'huge'. What can we expect from the look of FF2?

Fantastic Four movie props made by Derek Young. On his official site he's posted pictures of things that made it in to the final cut (Von Doom X-ray Arm Scanner etc.) and stuff that didn't (H.E.R.B.I.E and The Fantasti-car !). The designs are very faithfull to the comics. In a deleted scene they were meant to fall of a shelf in Reed's storage area.
A sign of things to come in the sequel?

Yes, that pic of Doom and Boris is perfect....cast Boris, give us a large castle with fancy looking interiors, robots everywhere, and a "medieval" looking village that looks "primitive" and yet, probably one of the most powerful nations in the world.

In other words, find a village that looks a lot like something from the old 1932 Frankenstein Boris Karloff movie, and that more or less is what Latveria should look like.

If you want to put a reference to H.E.R.B.I.E in there like the 1st movie fine. This Fantiscar, and this Pogoplane. Don't think we'll see both in the sequel. Probibly the Fantasticar. And I never did like the hottub Fantiscar look. The pic of Latveria, perfect. I'm sure they can find some little town that looks like that somewhere. Dr Doom also perfect.

I'm sorry but this thing looks like a bed pan.....LMAO....

Hunter and I were looking at some possible sites in and around Vancouver....they have some great old castles in that area that could definitely be used for this type of scene....

Well, I was alittle kinder saying hot tub. However that was the orignal Fantasticar for a few issues.

They can not use Hatley Castle. It's already the X-Mansion.

Doesn't mean they can't use sections of it....

and there are other buildings on that site besides that one...

I'd prefer they use no sections of it...

Another castle/building is fine, but Hatley Castle should remain the X-Mansion. Not the X-Mansion/Doom's Castle.

The X-Mansion is as much a character in the X Films/X-Tales as Storm/Wolverine/Cyclops/Jean.

Movie magic can do anything....and actually the castle doesn't belong to either movie, it belongs to the province of British Columbia...*winks*

I'm not saying it belongs to the X-Men movies. Just saying....I'd prefer they find another building.

The Ultimate F4 car is amazing.

Awesome. That one screams Latveria!

It does, doesn't it? Did you see that balcony? Would that not be perfect for Doom to come out on, observing his beloved kingdom, or he could address his people? I could see that castle as Castle Doom and then, the country of Latveria build around that...come on production team, Tim Story, Fox....don't let me down....don't let the fans down..:doom: :doom: :doom:
