Bleh. Prototype was okay (Dumb but fun with ZERO replay value) but Alex Mercer has gotta be the least likable videogame hero of all time, and I don't really care to play such an unashamed ******* again.
If this has a new main character, I'd be a little bit happier about this but I doubt they're gonna do that.

Entering the tank-mini game was such a pain in the ass. Hopefully, if this game has tanks, they fixed that little problem. And maybe work on the targeting, so it's easier to move to higher targets, instead of literally having to jump to a higher building to do it.

And maybe, just maybe, we could get a little more variety in the weapon nods.

I completely agree.
When I think of comic book type heroes, the story-telling usually doesn't involve a bland man talking to a bland woman in bland room. Most of the fun wasn't in actually doing the main missions, but going on killing spree's, it's like Grand Theft Auto without any real consequence, as you are way over-powered.

Oh that's for damn sure, everything needs to be improved in the sequel. Prototype is a fun game, but the enjoyment can wear thin real easily once the military get involved along with the hordes of mutants with the most insane enemy AI. Mercer isn't a bad hero for a game, but he certainly isn't a great one.

I think that honor goes to Kratos. He was just such a bad ass that made everyone forget that he's one of the biggest pricks in video game history. Iv never hoped that the character i was controlling would die, but i did with Kratos.

I had an ok time with the first one. Felt like i was playing as Carnage. I do hope this new one gives a bit more choice as to what type of role you can play ala Infamous' karma system. I dont mind being an anti hero/villain but id like to have the option to use my abilities for good as well.

I wholeheartedly concur. I found it to be substantially better than the HIGHLY overrated Infamous. I still dont understand what people saw in that game. It had some cool quotes and solid visuals but Cole and his christian bale with throat cancer voice bored the hell out of me, not to mention the unresponsive, boring third person gameplay.

inFAMOUS was, IMHO more tame than Prototype (obviously) but far more polished and "prettier". However, I think Prototype had much better powers and a better story.

I thought the first was ok but fairly enjoyable. Loved the gameplay and abilities. I'd definitely like a second and looking forward to hear more. Exciting news.

More polished graphically, absolutely. NO ONE is gonna debate that. The atrocious storyline, clunky gameplay and tacked on morality system are what ruined that Infamous for me. Infamous was one of the biggest disappointments this generation for me.
