I have a weird conflict betwee the two games on my PS3. Oblivion is designed to only operate if the controller is assigned controller slot one. When the GH III reciever is plugged in, any controller assigned to slot 1 will be re-assigned to slot 2. When I go to play Oblivion, while the GH III receiver is plugged in, I have to manually reset the controller to port 1. Easy enough, and it wouldn't normally be a problem, but the thing is I can't use the R2 shoulder button which is used to cast spells. I then have to unplug the GH III receiver so the R2 button will work again. Weird, huh? Anyone else run into this? Anyone know of a fix other than unplugging the GH III receiver when I want to play Oblivion?

Yep, run into it all the time with my Buzz! dongle (thats the official name for the reciever). Its really annoying, but such a miniscule problem it seems stupid to mention it.

Yah, it's not really a big deal, just annoying as you say, and a little weird, that's why I mentioned it. I guess I'll have to get used to plugging it in when I go to play GH III, and unplugging it when I'm done.

This happens to me all the time with my rock band controllers. If you hold down the PS button on the controller and reassign it to slot 1, then turn off the controller and turn it back on, it should would normally again. However, the easiest solution is to just unplug the receiver when you're not playing GH or Rock Band. ;)

Thought I'd drag this thread back from the grave because of the 3.00 Update. Has anyone noticed that after that, the controller doesnt get confused anymore? Even if I have my dongle in there, the controller still registers as Numero Uno! Sony, you never cease to amaze.
