PS3 Problem

A few hours ago I plugged my PS3 up to the living room TV which is a HDTV. So I put the HDMI cable in and it worked fine. When I took the PS3 back to my room I plugged it back up using the red, white, and yellow cables. Now when I turn the PS3 on all I get is a blue screen. What do I do to correct this problem?

Thats bc your PS3 is configured to HDMI connection. Id suggest putting it back on your HDTV and changing the cable settings under Display Settings

Whenever that happens to me, I just hold down the power button for about five seconds, and that resets the display settings.

My PS3 "flickers" when I play regular DVD's, like, 3 lines go down the screen. It's odd and ONLY does it on standard dvds. I thought maybe it was because of the upconversion...but nope.

Mine does something similar... it has this pink bar at the bottom of the screen for a second and then goes to the dvd.
