PS3 Component Cable Cut? Sony one ups MS yet again.

Sure, PS3 doesn't come with the HDMI cable needed to use the HDMI port. No problem, right? I mean at least they'll come with component cables, like what came with the $400 XBOX360, right?

Not so fast....

Will the PS3 include component video cables in the box?
I'm not sure, but I think the answer might be "no."

every ones going to need a different cable anyway. aslong as they don't charge stupid amounts for accessories like microsoft it'll be fine. you can get a HDMI cable from any manufacturer you want; and it'll be to the quality standard you as a costumer want. including it would be a waste for people not using componant.

A $600 entertainment machine thatcomes with only an A/V cable is obviously inexcuseable, but it's not like it's going to stop people from buying the system. And as long as the component cables are reasonably priced like $15-20, I don't think it will be too bad. It was still a dumb idea to not include them though, so hopefully they change their mind.

I mean, Sony's already loosing so much $$$ on PS3 as it is, what signifigant difference could having to include three extra wires make?
