Psylocke's Psychic Weapons

Hello guys,

I read some new x-men comics 2 weeks ago and I noticed Psylocke's new skintight costume with the long red-purple sash.

I realized that Psylocke conjured not only her usual psychic knife or katana, but also some other weapons:

- psychic crossbow
- psychic bow & arrow
- psychic flail

First of all, I'm a fan of Psylocke but I never really understood her psi-weapons, even her original psi-knife. Please kindly explain to me,

How does Psylocke produce psi-knife and psi-katana?
How does Psylocke produce her other psy-weapons psychically?
Did she get a power-upgrade to produce these weapons?
Are Jean/Emma/Rachel capable of producing their own psychic weapons?
Is Psylocke capable of creating any psychic tangible-things?
Is Psylocke's psychic weapon actually a manifestation of her energy?

They are just how she manifests her telekinesis. She has ninja training, and familiarity with those weapons, so she has been depicted more and more using her power to simulate them.

Psylocke's psi-weapons are the focus of her telepathic ability. She started out only using the knife and it was explained that when she used it, it was hard for her to also use her telepathy simultaneously.

During one story a woman named Kwannon debuted and it was revealed she was the person Psylocke swapped bodies with after going through the Siege Perilous. Kwannon was in Psylocke's original British body and had the ability to create swords and katanas.

Eventually she died from the Legacy Virus and it caused Psylocke to fully regain all her powers/memories. At this point her powers slightly increased and she was able to create the psi-weapons that Kwannon could.

As far as Jean goes, I've seen her create Psionic swords and armor but only when she is on the psychic plane. I would think that Rachel could do the same but I can't recall ever seeing it. Emma is only a telepath, just like Psylocke but I've never seen her use psychic weaponry.

Different manifestations of mutant powers. Look at the Summers brothers, all have similar access for powers but all setup very differently for use.

Some TKs can use it like a wave and it flows around things to move them and others manipulate it into things instead. I'd imagine if she focused enough and was familiar enough with it should could make a number of things with her TK.

I remember I saw a certain comic panel of X-Men on google, it showed that Jean + Cyclops were battling enemies. They were swarmed by the enemies that Jean told Cyclops telepathically that she had created "TK Line"

At first I was confused what "TK Line" meant, but after I saw what it did, I understood that Jean's TK Line functions similar to Spiderman's web to jump around.

Can this TK line be considered as a psychic weapon or tool as well?

And 1 time I saw Goblin Queen with a whip, wrapped around Jean's neck, but she created it. Is this also a psychic weapon?

If all of the above is true, then does this mean that TK + TP users can manifest energy however they like?

I'd assume that TK users can manipulate their energy to take various forms if they're strong enough and can focus it enough.

So basically Psylocke's psychic energy power is similar to Raven's power from Teen Titans Go TV show?

In Teen Titans Go, I once watched Raven mentally shaped her dark energy into a big fist and hit BeastBoy with it.

Does that how psylocke's power work?

Seems like she can manipulate it however she feels like. Using it as a weapon, a shield or just picking stuff up.

Isn't Quentin supposed to grow up to be an Omega level mutant in the future? If so that makes him way more stronger than Psylocke. I think she's always been considered Alpha level and that might be pushing it.

Mystique is now more famous worldwide than Phoenix Force ever since Mystique became a main character in X: DOFP movie.
