Punisher Movie website gets a massive overhaul!

I was checking out the Punisher Website and DAMN it looks fine. You probably remember the old, rather generic one. Check out the new one at

It's really good. The start feels a little Sin Cityesque, but it's good to see some real effort here. I'm still exploring it, wonder if there's anything new we haven't seen.

Ok, I've searched it high and low, and I can't find anything new. There is a game of some sort, but NO ONE else is playing, and you need two to use it. So I haven't tested it there. There's also a boards, but it only has 6 members, so the site is obviously very new.

I loved looking at Castle's armory. It's obvious he's gonna use a lot of guns, unlike the 04 version. The only guns I'm gonna miss from the '04 version are the Colts. They were SWEET!

Ugh, I'm trying to play this one guy at the Punisher game, but wow. He can't figure out a game that has three buttons. And if that's any of you, GUEST 571! Come on man. You just have to hit the right key and click.

looks like there is some new wallpapers, and a few new images of the punisher hidden within the flashes the site does, and there is some words that flash on one of the menu cut sequences, couldnt make out what it said though

Overall a really good flash site, havent seen one that good in a while.

The game isn't too great, don't worry too much about it. There's not a whole lot of skill involved in it, and once you've played it a couple times, there's really no reason to go back to it. The rest of the site is sweet though.

The only thing that popped out which I haven't seen people talk about is the new trailer. It'll have an abundance of action, it would seem, but the dialogue sounds worse than it reads.

That one premiered the same night as the redband trailer which is why it was not discussed as much.

I wasn't a huge fan of the second trailer, it felt very cliched at first, but I like it a lot more now. The voice over especially... I can't stand when those pop up in trailers. All in all, I felt it gave a good impression that Jigsaw'll at least be an all-right villain to watch.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean cartoony. It could be dark, sinister and messed up, which is pretty much what Jigsaw is. Looking through most of his appearances in the comics I have (pretty much just a few War Journals and Circle of Blood) I can see how he would have a comedic flavour, even if it's dark humour.

It'd be different if he tries to emulate Tommy Lee Jones in Batman Forever. That'd be painful. So lets hope that's not what he meant when he said 'play it like a comedy'.

Going by the two trailers, even though they aren't that long, some of the his mannerisms do give off the Tommy Lee Jones Two-Face vibe. There's a lot of camera mugging coming from him in them.

It disappoints me to think that, because I am a big fan of his .

I didn't pick up that vibe at all. I'm not a big fan of the delivery on the "lets play a game!" line, but besides that, I don't think we have any reason to worry yet.

i love the part with jigsaw and the lil girl and the part where he stabs the dude in the neck. it is possible to do over-the-top without hamming it up. jigsaw is a straight up psycho and that's exactly how west is playing him.
