tldr version: The Forever Purge is the best one since Purge Anarchy.

I thought it was ok. I know there have always been political overtones to this series but it felt like a sledgehammer in this one.

I'm utterly floored and pissed as to how this movie made the third movie completely pointless.

So apparently, sometime between Election Year and this movie, those New Founding Fathers bastards SOMEHOW regained control of Congress and made the Purge worse by getting rid of the time limit rules. Question: weren't they all DEAD by the end of Election Year? And what happened to the President and Frank Grillo? Did they have them killed? Blumhouse said this was the finale of the series and yet not only did they leave the door open for more sequels, they basically made the third movie's ending POINTLESS! It's like whoever wrote this movie didn't even WATCH it and just wanted to do whatever they wanted!
